My Very First Grow. Dutch Passion Purple # 1

Hey Guys New to the forum, but I've been lurking around here for a while, doing research before I finally attempted my first grow. Decided I would start out with a Grow Log.

I currently have 3 Dutch Passion Purple # 1 Started.

-Seeds were feminized, 3 days ago they were put between moist napkins and set in the dark to germinate.

-Root began to show from all three seeds, each was ready to be planted.

-I planted all three seeds in there own separate containers, I don't want to do a transplant so they are each in one, 5 gallon pot.

-Soil PH - 6.2

- 1 400W HPS, 1 400W MH. I want the plant to be exposed to both ends of the light spectrum from early on.


That's about it for now, I will keep you guys updated. When the little girls finally poke out from the soil, I'll take pictures and make another post. I do plan on posting on here daily, all the way through my entire grow.

9/1/2011.

Here is the progress. 2 of the 3 are looking healthy, my third girl looks like she's struggling to make it - didn't take a picture of the third one yet.

9/3/11.

Not much more growth. My girls are still looking green and healthy. Continue to spray with a light mist from a spray bottle.

Third Seedling Died. I looked at it and I must have mishandled it while I was planting it, the root growth had snapped in half. I figured I would mess up somewhere since this is my first grow.


Look for much more pictures and info to come. Room is at 80 degrees on a consistent basis. Humidity has been bouncing between 48 - 53 steadily.

9/4/11

Yesterday I had used some Miracle Grow All Purpose Plant Food. I diluted the serving like 1/20th if that and applied it lightly to the soil to let it soak in and then sprayed a single mist over each of my babies.

Today after looking at them both, the growth is very noticeable! Being my first grow I already love seeing the progress from picture to picture as I post them and also in person.

Environment of my grow is consistent. 80 degrees. Humidity between 48 - 53. Soil PH 6.2 Fans in the room circulating air throughout
