Ya, those final weeks are very important if not the most important. I'm sure you lose a few percent THC, if not more depending on the strain. Are you harvesting early because of mites or something?
I just chopped some 3 weeks early and it gets me plenty high, you can just tell its immature bud.

u will have a sativa high when they bud u can cut them down whenever and still get high u can smoke a grow shoot in vegging and get high but the main thing u will lose is weight

Commercial growers harvest at six weeks so they can for one more harvest in a year..a lot do. not all..but i guarantee that we smoke early weed all the time and don't know

if you like a stoney high i wouldnt do it, i wouldnt do it anyway but its all about what YOU want, but i would deffinately wait for it to swell up
