Okay so before I waste my money on an ozone generator... will it cover up a small grow op?? if so, where should I put it in my house?? in the grow room?

I run my exhaust ducting from the smelly flowering room to the bathroom. Typical bathrooms are exhausted through the top roof.

Ozone will definitely take care of your smell issues. I use it and it works great. Ozone gets a bad rap from people who don't understand how to use it and from people who just repeat what they have read others post concerning ozone use. If a person wants to use it, I highly suggest doing some research concerning proper use in an occupied area.

I started out with a CAP jr. generator. Do yourself a favor and skip these and save yourself the regret. They have serious quality issues. I dis-reguarded reports of this because I have other CAP products that I like. The generator didn't last 3 months and I only ran it 10 minuets every 3 hours.

Almost all generators put out WAY more ozone than necessary to handle the smell issues in your house. If you use a timer, you can dial down the output untill you find the spot where you don't smell weed and you don't smell ozone either. That's where you want to be.

Ozone in high concentrations can cause respriatory irritation and also can damage your plants if you try to put it in your grow box with them. Just set it up in the house someplace where the furnace fan can recirculate the ozone throughout the house, but not next to your easy chair. I keep mine in the basement outside my grow room.

After the CAP failed, I built my own unit. It's fairly easy if you are at least a little handy and also considerably cheaper. Look on ebay. There are tons of folks selling kits. 1 gram/ hr should be more than enough for your operation unless you live in a mighty big house. I've got around $50 in the whole set up and it's plenty big for my 3600 sq ft house. That's ozone kit, box to contain it, fan to circulate air through the unit and timer to control the generator. I only need to run this one for 5 minuets every 3 hours and have no smell issues what so ever.
