Would this be a good all-in-one system?

so yeah i've been getting interested in growing my own and don't have alot of money or space to get started. my grow room would be a small storage space underneath the basement stairs. the aerogarden is very appealing, but it would be nice to have a little more than an oz every 2 months or so, so i was thinking of going with something like this: All-in-one beginner hydroponics and indoor lighting system from 4hydroponics.com by Growco Indoor Garden Supply

the price isnt much more than the aerogarden pro200 and the ebb and flow system seems to be popular on here, so i was wondering if you guys thought this would be a good system to get started?

also, im unsure what i could do about the smell, as i dont have any ducts or ventilation in my potential grow room. i watched jorge cervante's dvd and while i understand alot of what he said that pertained to growing, im a bit unclear about all the ventilation issues. i should also note that im not the most apt person when it comes to building shit which is why these all in one systems are appealing to me.

thats cool man.. doesnt seem like anything out there in my budget will suffice for what i'd like (4 oz's every grow would be nice.) im not trying to sell or anything just have some personal shit for myself and maybe a few friends.

i want to get a picture of my potential grow room on here so you guys can see what kind of space im working with. being that the room is underneath stairs, it makes the lighting thing kinda awkward.

any good links for a simple DIY system for dummies? under $400 would be nice.
