NEW PICS AT NEW POST #15



well today i was really checking this plant out its about 3 1/2 weeks old its not very big at all but i think i can see some female hairs tell me if you guys still think its to early.sorry if my cam sucks and its hard to see but these look like hairs if its to hard guess im gonna have to wait it out.

for sure it just looks like there is little hairs coming in. what ya think beside a bit over watered some reson my soil on the bottle of my pots dont like to dry out.

This is what your looking for...
As the images below demonstrate, the female preflower is pear shaped and produces a pair of pistils. Frequently, the female preflowers do not show pistils until well after the preflowers have emerged. Thus, don't yank a plant because it has no pistils.Pistillate preflowers are located at the node between the stipule and emerging branch.

i dont think u cud see yet, both male and female plants have two little points on the branches, from where there coming out of the main stem.

Stoney in several of your post you ask " how does it look besides overwatered?" and then you have a picture of your plant there that was recently watered.. you need to lay off the water before you drown the little bugger.
- Leaves that are drooping from underwatering will look limp and lifeless.
- Leaves that are drooping from overwatering will be firm and curled down, even from the stem of the leaf.

yes yes i understand this i didnt really just water i misted. the tops of the soil because the top drys out very very fast (with in an hour) and the bottom of the pot will stilll be very very wet. so i mist the top thats y it looks over water some one said i should keeps the tops of my soil mosit.you tell me your the expert.

he did tell you. Stop watering or you are gonna kill your plants. Stop misting completly as it is not need at all. You should water when the whole pot is pretty much dry. For example I water like every 5 days. Also there is no way your plant are sexing right now....you have stunned there growth already so they need some TLC.

Take it from someone who just about killed 2 1/2 months of work. Quit watering!!! Let them go until they are dry to the bottom before wattering. I used this principle until a few weeks ago and they were doing great. Now mine look like shit because I over watered them in an attempt to flush them.

well the only reson i keep misting is because someone on this site said to keep the tops of my soil moist. done flame me cuz im a noob

Hey buddy, you do not need to keep the top of the soil moist. Let the soil DRY out COMPLETELY before watering again. You also might want to transplant into a new soil with perlite mixed it for proper drainage.

If you don't, it is likely your plant will get root rot from water sitting in the bottom of the pot. When you DO water, it should drain out the holes at the bottom so there is no water sitting at the bottom of the pot.

k coo man my soil has good drainage and all i added perlite to it. just that someone said to me that the tops should be mosit. well thanks for clearing that up. my soil only takes about 2 days for 1/2 of it to dry out so shouldnt be much longer for the rest.

ok i got more pics of what i think is a female hairs (im still a noob but i wanna fight this) because what i have seen to this looks like a female hair. if its not because you guys were saying its inposeable to show sex now then what is it

also these are up and down my whole plant they are at every set of branchs on boths sides 2 sets 1 on each side. i might be able to got better pics idk see what happens.

u will know if there female for sure slow growth and some don't take the abuse. White hairs appear between the stems, if ur not lucky then balls appear and the plant has musky skunk small distroy unless you got some seed recipes lol,,, use clones if your just starting out, unless you have someone who can look at it. By the way wut is that lettuce, order some new strains from Amsterdam or Canada peace, just another answer from chronic,
