omg guys, the "how to not-kill a ripper" thread. booby traps and shooting people (even rippers) is illegal in most states just fyi. Unless said ripper is armed and presenting an immediate threat to your life, you will be going to prison for injuring that thief. I suggest a paintball gun w frozen ammo. Also bells on fishing lines with a big dog goes a long way.

I wasn't saying I'd shoot anyone, I'm just thinking like a stoner with the "DUUUUDE,what if...."mentality" lol

but yeah like you said there are many "stipulations" on when its legal or not to actually shoot someone. On that note, you can get a tazer or some other non lethal device. The ones most police use(the double pronged ones that shoot out 30 feet and are pretty powerful obviously) or ones like them can be found online.

They do cost a bit, but hey if it saves you from jail then why not.

Taser is good... Some good old fashioned bear traps work great... Or if you have a prob with rippers on the past just did you out a lil hole and line the bottom with home made wooden steaks ... Not actually lethal but bet it'd keep em away from your grow... Whose gonna file an accident when they are trespassing to start with right?
