Found a Baby Deer

How is the baby doing? Haven't heard anything in a while. :)
I'd let you know if I knew where she was. I haven't seen her since Monday night and honestly I fear the worst.

She seemed like she was getting a little sick on Sunday and she wasn't running around like she normally does Monday.

We have had a doe and fawn run through every morning around the area she's been laying so I'm really hoping she ran off with them.

This is the longest it's been that I haven't seen her so it kinda sucks and I doubt she's coming back.

OMG. :-o That sucks! I was reading to hear of the on going antics of the Fawn & The Pot Farmer and instead got The Pot Farmer Discords......

Really, its only been less than a week though. I've had a housecat run away for a couple weeks then finally show back up all skinny and dirty.

But maybe if you are going to assume something, might as well just assume she did find another group and is off experiencing more of the free roaming deer life. Sure, with that comes more dangers for her, but maybe it was something she felt the need to do... I don't know, just thinking you've come this far to now feel bad that she left... You should look back into it- about all the good you have done for her. From the very first day of finding her. The power of the mind. Feel good about youself and put out positive vibes for baby.

Picture this: couple years from now you have put all this way back in your head. One completely boring typical Wednesday, you step outside to start your daily grind... You see something in the yard. It's a big ol' doe standing there milling around where baby used to. It seems happy to see you and trots over...

This couldn't have happened if she didn't go explore with her new mates last Monday

You've done good man; feel good :leaf:

Write your story 420God. ;) Submit it to Disney and rake in the Doe. Pun intended. :D

Thank you for this, it really helps. Baby has been venturing off farther and farther every time she's gone out and she had completely lost her spots so it's a strong possibility she got the urge to join a herd and took off.

She sheds like a dog and any marking on her coat would wear off within days.

I also didn't have her collar on her either since it was wearing the hair down on her neck so I have no way of identifying her if I saw her.
