Rice is a godsend when dealing with wet electronics... it works great, and I've used it on multiple devices including computer boards.
Good call SocataSmoker!
I never would have thought of using rice as a desiccant.

I bought one in the past, sold it near instantly due to it being made of plastic, that peeved me for the price. My computer now has a double 120mm grill on top so is not a good candidate for putting things on top of i have a habbit of knocking things over. Bought a swanky bluetooth keyboard for a bit over £100, knocked a pint of beer over it first day i had itWow! What a great guess!
That is exactly right - the p180. You know your shit!
As you can see....it has a vent hole thats perfect for pouring liquids in.
Knowing how sensitive computers are to static electricity I am amazed at how much abuse they can take.
Thats classic!I have a habbit of knocking things over. Bought a swanky bluetooth keyboard for a bit over £100, knocked a pint of beer over it first day i had it
Aye, turned the thing off and ran it under the kitchen tap for 10 inutes before leaving it ontop of the cooker overnight to dry off. Was not a happy camperThats classic!
Nothing like a sticky fluid all over your keyboard.
Makes me glad I just spilled water and not soup or soda.
