I been having some serious issues after switching to 12/12. I have tried everything to my knowledge to fix the issue. It only seems to be getting worse..
I am used a 7-3-7 for veg and then am using Flora Nova bloom at .2ml a liter per feed. I feed every 2-3 waters.
Any help would be appreciated

they are starving...keep feeding the veg formula til after the stretch is over...or they are burnt to shit....flush 3 xs container volume the feed 3/4 dose veg/grow food

i would flush all of them real good..looks like a lockout...pull off those dead leaves...do you check your ph when you water?...and is it city tap water? well water?

its city water. yea, I get the feeling its lockout, because no matter what I do, they are getting worse.

Its city water, however, I leave it over night. I checked a while ago and the PH its around 6.2.
The problem is I have no access to PH down, So I was trying to make my own using battery acid and distilled water. Couldn't find the acidd where I am.
I heard vinegar is not stable. Are there any natural ways to put the PH down?
In addition, I think the water PPM is pretty high and cant check EC either..

lemon juice..but it is not worth it..order some ph up or down..whatever you need....battery acid may be the reason why the plants are stressing... what is the ph after you add nutes?

I didn't use the battery acid, I have to get some PH down.

Question about flushing:
flush 3 times the size of the pot. So, a 3 gallon potn needs 9 gallons of water ( about 32) liters to be flushed properly, I leave it over night to drain as well. Is this the correct method?

Is there any thing i can do in the mean time?

you could use a flushing agent to give it a better flush, 3-5 times the pot size..so 9-15 gallons will flush a 3 gallon pot nicely...i gotta assume you have a hydro store nearby? right?

pour the 9 gallons through as quickly as possible....no need to wait long as your medium drains well....then lets sit about 1 hour then pour 1 gallon feed water at 3/4 normal dose of your grow veg food mix....pour the whole gallon through...that should reset and get them what they need again

anyone else have any idea whats going. on?

So I am assuming the lockout is due to a high ph and ppm in the water? and the soil in not uptake the nutrients?

This is before adding nutes?

What do I want the PH after adding nutes?

Also can I check the Ph of the soil itslef?

dude shes starving, thats not burn its P deficiency in flower

you should feed her those nutes every other watering.
Oh wow, i think you this explains it very well, as I have been very conservative with nutes.
will get to it ans see how it pans out

Should i use veg or flowering fert. Because as some one mentioned I have lost alot of lower leaves due to low N?

Also, i am still having a hard time with the nutes.
Lets say the recommended dosage on the label says 1.4ml/ Liter. But that causes burn.
If lower it to .14ml/liter. Does that change the NPK values?

for example:
Bloom states that i need to use 0.3-0.7ml/L. So if I dilute it to that level, it is 4-8-7?
I usually take 5 ml of solution and add 250ml of water. My solution now is .02ml per ml of water. So take 10 ml of that diluted solutoin:
.02ml x 10ml = .2ml nutes per 10ml of solution. I now add the to the liter of water which I feed the plants.

Also,

4-8-7 is the percentage of nutrient in the bottle. But when my base nutrient is water (say 250 ml per liter) then it becomes the RATIO of nutrients in the solution. The percentage is now VERY LOW because it was diluted.

NPK of solution = (N or P or K of nutrient X ml nutrient used) /liter(1000ml water)
%N = (4 x 250ml)/1000ml = 1.0 per liter
%P = (8 x 250ml)/1000ml = 2.0 per liter
%K = (7 x 250ml)/1000ml = 1.75 per liter

So i would need 4 ml per liter to get the %?

The ratio does not change, but the value does. So does this mean, I am not feeding them enough??

Now I have the NPK of solution (1-2-1.75). By your terms, this is not enough. But if I use full strength, I get some burns and lockout...

Also how does PPM play into this?

In addition, post flushing, what should i do? Use the veg formula for the keeping the lower leaves and taking care of the nitrogen issues first, and then switch to the bloom the next time I use fert?

dig into the pot and take out a hand full of soil put it a cup poor some baking soda and water over it listen if it sizzels. if it does its acidic. then flush one time check ph run off. then if its all good start feeding there flowering and there going to take full nut. do you top with perlit or is that your ,ix i see with no soil.

I top with perlite. My soil mix is 10 Percent perlite, 10 percent sand, 80 percent soil.

Earlier, I also made the mistake of adding Fert right after I transplanted. I did not realize the soil has nutrients and was good for a week after transplant. This was in the veg stage. And they seem to have recovered.

I am still trying to figure out frequency of adding food. Right now, I am adding food every 2-3 I water. Every week and a half.
