So far so good for 2011. This is the Cherry Kush garden. Killing it this year, and coming down as we speak. I have heard of people having mediocre results with CK outdoors, but I think it looks fantastic. It is finishing pretty early also... For comparison, I have some diesels that are probably only halfway done. I have 5 above ground, and 4 in ground. I was able to stress/flush the plants in the barrels a fair bit (note all the yellow leaves), which I think will increase the quality of the smoke. I probably lost a little in yield, but I grow for quality first, quantity second. The ones in ground have massive colas. I held up a maglite for comparison.
The CK is dank. Pink-purple buds, but the leaves stay green. The hairs will also turn dark orange to red when ready. Probably the most attractive buds I have ever seen. Smells like some funky fruit for sure, and very potent. Not the best choice for a suburb grow! I also threw in a Grape Ape and Casey Jones for flavor. You can probably tell them from the others.
