Without much possibility to grow outside I have to consider growing indoors in the tropics. the outside air temp. ranges from 30-35C (86-95F) in the day and drops to about 25/26C (77f) during the night. I need to dial in the grow regimen for the climate here which is also humid -good for plants but good for rot, too. suggestions to buffer the climate for heat & humidity indoors?
please suggest further measures beyond venting the bulbs, using specific bulbs(??) that generate less heat, having a well ventilated room, good airflow + ventilation to outside will be a MUST.
I need help putting together the things that I absolutely MUST take care of in order to have a healthy mold-free yield. most peeps around here are fine smokin' compressed shag.
I am pretty nervous about having my whole crop go down with bud rot or pests or dying from the heat so i need the advice of seasoned indoor horticulturalists who can help me think about this and get it right.
Q: WHAT STRAINS will do well in high heat, high humidity? is there a strain that I can focus on that will do nicely here in the tropics (grown inside) given that it is hotter, more humid? should i look for something tough?
as for extra measures i'm thinking about using an Air Conditioner, De-humidifier, vented light-hoods & LED's (PLS ADVISE), lighting up the room during the night when it's cooler outside. I understand that C02 will enable the plants to tolerate higher temperatures, can anybody tell me how much so?
please help i'm green although i've been around g's for a while but this will be my first show. what strains should i run to be successful here? i think heat and humidity (pests, bud rot) are my obstacles. kindly point anything else out to me that I can't foresee. has anybody used EM1 (Effective Microorganisms) to increase plant-immunity for combating budrot?
anybody has thought this one thru?
thx
