warm up your tongues?

today i was at the dentist for a root canal and they gave me a sedative since it was like 4 hours.. not sure what they gave me, but some of it was disolved under my tongue .. here is the part that caught my attention - he had me swish with a cup of warm water before each sub-lingual.. i am thinking now - is that a good way to dose acid/shrooms? was he warming my tissues so that they would absorb the chem? because i have always thought that absorbing your dose in the mouth is a great way to have a smooth dramatic trip - if you just swallow the tabs or caps then you'll digest them slowly and there won't be so much of a peak etc..

anyone else on to this? i don't dose anymore atm.. but, i feel like i learned something cool. heh..

Excellent inquiry. You have peaked my interest. This is definitely something I will try next time. I've never thought about it, but I can see how it would work. The warm water would expand and loosen up the tissue and allow for faster absorption.

why are you making that face in your avatar? and why are you browsing hs if you believe to have reached a higher level of intelligence? LSD absorbs itself into your tung perfectly, because it is full of pores and sensitive nerve endings. No need to losing up or expand tissue. I don't remember bleeding last time I drank a cup of coffee... Letting it dissolve on your tung for 10-15 minutes, and then chewing, and then swallowing is the most promising by far.

I am not about to put my three hits in a cup of water, like some have suggested, nor swash around warm water, expecting it to alter the effects.

The only proven amplifiers are THC, alcohol, Vitamin C, and some other ascorbic acid derivatives.

Why are you being a big meanie? I'm not sure what level of intelligence you seem to think I have claimed. And if I did reach such intelligence, why would you assume that I would stop visiting HS? You're making assumptions and drawing strange conclusions. HS is fun for all ages and intelligences.

I'm not a chemist, a biologist, or a doctor. Notice how I say it's something I'm going to "try" next time and that it "peaked my interest". I didn't come straight in the thread and say, "Oh yeah ford442, you didn't know that already. lol, what a taint. i knew that trick for years. i know the science behind it cause im a genious blahblah blah."

Instead, I ponder it and then I say I see how that could work. And then I go on to give my hypothesis of what happens and how it works. No where in my post did I say that this is exactly what happens because I know it for a fact. You must have been high when you read my post.

Just relax man. You don't have to be confrontational all the time.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I thank you for clearing up the confusion and providing a more concise answer. You provided valuable information and I learned something new today. But your post could have done without the sarcasm and snarkiness. It's very off-putting.

I have even heard chai tea has mild amplifying effects. but who knows, could just be a strong batch...

Stimpy, I was referring to the thread where you stated that you only need oxygen after you have done drugs for a certain period of time. You can take the knowledge and add it to your plethora of useless thoughts, or you can continue to trip because it makes you feel at one with the universe - without intense focusing or an immense amount of time dedicated to learning the ideal techniques of meditation, and perfecting that. It is one thing to say focus on your breathing, its another thing to say 'by focusing on your breathing and slowing down your breaths per minute, you can increase the amount of oxygen in your bloodstream, which positively effects your neurological sensors which rely on a very precise amount of oxygen to function properly, and you could have an OBE practicing, or you could pass out, and suffer minor brain damage.' recommending "focus on your breathing. stop taking acid" is not necessarily the most supporting advice.

Really the initial dosage and/or how the dosage was received is the only factor in dropping the acid in your mouth. It would be pretty ridiculous if since the thirty's, we've been wasting a percentage of the acid intensity.

With the breathing and the oxygen thing, I was responding to Bwpz's question about orgasms. I was simply giving non-descriptive tips. I didn't even go into any detail.

And by the way, you don't learn techniques of meditation. You create them. You're brain is your brain and nobody elses. If you keep putting up these boundaries and limits and constructing these walls by restricting meditation to the mere act of learning techniques, then you're mistaken. The mind trumps any and all science. It is capable of anything. These aren't fantastical statements. And I hope you don't dismiss them as such.
