this was the main reason i went to organic, past nutes was fox farm.but it seems that its a 50/50 thing on RIU organic growers says 7 days before harvest. im gonna flush 2 and leave2,to get my own results.

You know flushing is a myth right?

After 20 years of growing, I have learned flushing is for toilets.

My opinion.
if it was a myth many nutrient companys wouldnt tell you to flush.also many expert growers wouldnt bother.ive smoked unflushed weed that was grown using synthetic nutrients and i could tell straight away.

i would flush the shit out of it. use alot ! then a few days later flush again with alot of water, make sure you get that 80-90 % run off. i have 45 plants in 5 gal geo pots, i frequently water with 110gal barrel. almost a mintue for each plant !!!!! some people think its to much but its not. You figure , if you only use 1gal of water, its not going to totally & evenly saturate your plant, and could leave dry pockets in your soil ! trust me , flush away !!

main reason i want a quick and big flush is to cut next sat unless trichomes have a big change.last week all milky and i dont see plants till weekend.the nutes i used i was missing a bottle that the npk was 0-4-0.just got it last week and i wanted to feed as much as i could, my buds were small but two feeding with high amount of P has made a big improvement. 4 blueberry and 2 trainwreck

Flushing in organic soil is useless at best and is damaging to your plant, robbing you of that last flurry of growth before they are ready. I am amazed at the this myth of flushing and the lasting impression it leaves on so many people. Watering all of the nutes out of the soil you have worked to keep healthy for months so that your plant has what it needs to deliver the best product possible and then when she needs it the most, drowning her leaves nothing for her to work with.
You are adding 0-4-0 which really will not work by itself. P need K and N in order to move throughout the plant from the roots, you can achieve some results by foliar application but for the most part the P will stay where it was absorbed. I believe you will find that a more balanced P & K with at least a little N will give you the better results. There has been much research done in recent years about P needing K and the N in order to obtain the best results.
Remember farmers like myself don't flush the fields before we harvest and we don't starve plants (by and large always exceptions) before harvest but do adjust levels to maintain health of the plant and increase yield. As far as tasting any nutes in a plant after it has been harvested, dried and cured, not very likely. This being said if you don't dry and cure properly you are going to have shitty tasting smoke no matter what you do to it.
Happy Growing

yes N and P are very closely related... i know that. if one is low the plant will struggle to take the other. i think N is the catalyst though for everything. The N has to be right for everything else to fall into place.

i use roots organic.the bloom is i think 0.25-2-3 and i was missing HP2 which is 0-4-0. they had two feeding and have fattened up alot since adding the HP2.
