Man killed in sacramento for trying to rob plants. One up for us growers *woot woot*

NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA - An attempt to steal marijuana plants from a backyard garden early Thursday morning ended with the murder of the intruder, according to Sacramento police.
Vue Cheng, 29, was shot once and had trauma to his upper body consistent with blunt force, according to police, who received a call to the 600 block of Morey Avenue at 3:11 a.m.

If he "broke" any security measures to get in such as a gate lock, barb wire.. It would be ok imo. it is still your property & when confronting a crook & they approach you on your own property to cause you harm, shoot. <3

All that says to me is they they were fighting before he was shot..

even if it said, he had a knife sticking from his upper chest when found.. That would mean, they stabbed him before shooting him.
Does not mean it was unjustified. A crook may not give up after being beaten up or stabbed.
We do not know if he was on drugs or anything. too little info, until then. Kudos to the shooter.

I do not believe you should sit in the house on the phone if someone is On your Property. If they decide to fight you once you confront them, shoot them. The burglar is better off dead than taking up space in prison or room in his grandmas house plotting his next robbery.

No, he climbed over a fence to gain access to the property, Trespassing. Saying it was all outside assumes no crime had been committed before the shooting. In this case we have Burglary and Trespassing occurring before the confrontation.

Go watch the Movie Law abiding citizen .. If you dont understand why you need to protect your home with lethal force.. then imagine that happening to your family. IF you jump into someones property ... you are risking your life in order to steal some of someone else's. This guy is almost 30 years old not 13 .. you dont think he knew what could happen to him if he got caught.. thats why he did it at 3 in the morning.. thats a small backyard in a populated area.. not some field in the middle of nowhere.. those plants are probably 10-20 ft from the rooms the people sleep in .. I would kill him or them as well.. or atleast attempt to.. People who decide to rob and steal from someones property are not stable.. they are risk takers without much to live for .. Im not trusting my security on their intentions... Ill ENSURE my own security .. thank you!

So you just freely let people take your things? Where do you live? I want to take your car, your house and all your possessions. I will leave your family alone. You guys also need to understand.. that letting someone leave or go from your property .. just gives them another chance to go home ..and regroup with friends ect.. and do it again at your residence or someone else's.. you think if this guy didnt get killed he wasnt going to do it again ? Ive grown up in bad neighborhoods and live in one right now.. im the only white guy within 3 blocks and everyone is black or hispanic .. lots with gang relations .. If I yelled or threatened them.. when they are in my yard .. they would just come back in force... You shoot to kill.. send a message that it wont be tolerated!

My point is .. if you wait till they come indoors.. then you have given them a opportunity to harm your family .. and if you try to warn or talk/threaten them .. that just gives them more time to attack and locate you ...
