then his lawyer will use that to claim self defense and paint the gang member as a threat...which should not be real hard..it only takes one out of 12 people to find reasonable doubt ....he may walk

Same thing happened here in Maine last year. Guy shoots a guy in his outdoor patch. He got 18 years a few months ago.

has this gone to court yet? any updates?

i looked and couldnt find anything about the case online and i havent heard anything about it through word of mouth either. i read the sac bee everyday so im sure it will be in there when something happens. chances are if he is getting charged it will take awhile unless he takes a deal.
