Making Some Extra Cash

Hey guys,

Me and my wife are tight on cash and as a disabled veteran I'm not supposed to be working because of my condition. Does anyone know of a reliable place to make money online easily. My wife has 2 jobs and we are still just barely able to pay the bills. I am currently waiting on the VA as they have screwed up my benefits and I'm not receiving proper compensation, this has been going on for months and they don't seem to be working on it very hard. I'm looking for something that would be fairly easy for me to do and make at least $100 a month so we can get some food on the table instead of ramen noodles. I can't do much as I have brain damage due to massive injuries sustained from when I was active duty. Thanks.

Most of these places online are scams, i've tried doing the same thing and all they do is sell your information to other companies and they send you junk mail and false hope. I've heard of people finding jobs like that but its really hard to find. You should contact google or yahoo or another big name website company and tell them what your looking to do and tell them your story i bet they would have some answers. best of luck i hope you find what your looking for, take care and be easy

There are a few legit places... one is Vindale Research. They have many different tests at $1.00 and up to $15.00 a piece. Some are things to buy. Ignore those. Just do surveys about your usage and products. You can get it up to $100 per month. That is one idea.

The other is to work for a local recruiting firm. Offer to work on commission and find them some good job canditates for a position or two that they simply cannot fill (or have had trouble filling). I did this for a while and you can do this from home. It just takes some persevearance and lots of digging for good resumes... reading between the lines, etc..

Thanks, I will look into Vindale Research. As Silver said, most places are scams and its hard to find a good one.

I'm not trying to be rude with this question: Do you have any marketable skills? Web design, writing, photo editing, SEO, programing, something else you can try to freelance with? There are some sites that let people post freelance jobs but you usually have to give a cut of what you earn to the site. The best thing is to create a portfolio website and build your brand. You can use the freelance sites to hook customers but try to drive them to your portfolio site ASAP so you can coordinate business without giving away a cut. It also makes you look more like a professional (kinda like having a business card and a suit.)

Freelancing is not easy and you have to be really aggressive. There is a lot of competition and some people are willing to work for ridiculously low amounts. Some freelance writing gigs pay as low as ~$4 an article, and don't be surprised if an employer scams you outright.

The freelance sites I know of
elance.com
guru.com
ifreelance.com
vworker.com
freelancer.com

Most first grows fail. You have to try again. One mother plant -fluro(veg room) , 2 clones in clone box(use the best one), 1 plant(rooted clone) in the veg room(4 weeks) 2 plants in the flower room-600hps (rotated every 4 weeks),one finishes and one(from the veg room ) goes in every 4 weeks. Use soil, its easier, and get an indica strain. You can harvest about 4 oz every 4 weeks in the cycle, thats approx $1000 a month plus a little smoko. Cost about $300-400 to set up and you wont look back. Dont fall into online scams bro ,you will only lose money.
Even worse case ,getting done with 6 plants wont land you in jail.

thanks guys. I don't have much for marketable skills. I have made a few bucks building race tracks for racing simulators and I've made a few abstract graphics, but I'm not sure how to go about selling those. I am not good with web design and making graphics for people is hard for me because I can't just sit down and make a graphic the way someone else wants it.

I'm not really worried about going to jail. My only purpose for growing is for me and my wife as she doesn't sleep well and neither do I, but I'm always in pain and I have alot of other issues. I wouldn't mind selling to a dispensary, but there aint any here since its not legal here in Texas.

Selling a small amount of top quality weed once a month would cover your cash worries man... if your already growing then grow an extra plant to cover the total cost of the grow and give you a couple of hundred buks to make life easier... its not dealing...

Everyone can do something, what can you do. If you have a brain injury then they must have given you tests to see what levels you are functioning at, not trying to pry, my wife is a Certified Vocational Counseler and she spends he days testing and recommending jobs for people with brain injury's. You were in the forces what did you do there, grunt, specialist ? Is all physical work out of the question, light duty? How are your people skills, be honest, can you still learn, read and absorb information. What did you do before the military, do you have any hobbies.

How about looking after a few kids after school or picking them up and dropping them off. Can you do light yard work? Throwing these at you as they are quick ways to get something going short term.

If your still up for learning and have a computer, learn a hot computer programing set. The library will provide the books and most download sites have the software you can get for nothing.

Was in Tampa for a visit and my brother in law was not working, no papers, Canadian. I noticed everyone had screened pools and patio areas and lots need repair and asked why. The repair guys charged too much. After buying some screen and a few thing we fixed his and the guy next door ask if I would do his, we made 400$ in one day. 2 days later we had 3 more to do, the next week we made $1,200.00 tax free. Him and his son who just got out of the Marines are doing it to this day. I know this is not stay at home but it is an example of see opportunity by looking around.

Best of luck to you and hope your benefits get worked out soon. Can you get the help of a advocate group?

I have my good days and bad days. I love computers, but I'm not able to build computers anymore. I have to write everything down since I can't remember anything. Some days I need my wheelchair or cane as on my bad days I can barely walk or not at all. My spine and a large portion of my nervous system is messed up. My wife has to help me carry any soil or other heavy things, some days I can barely pick up a gallon of milk. I can't drive our car anymore. According to my doctor on my good days I have the mentality of a 13 year old but on my bad days I have the mentality of a 5 year old. I worked on computers in the military, but was sent over seas and was on convoys and didn't work with computers at all. My people skills aint great as I can't control my anger and I have nervous breakdowns alot. I can still learn if I'm able to take notes on everything and read through those frequently. Before I joined the military I raced at the local short track, which is now out of the question.

OK that's a clear picture and I can see why work at home is the only way to go. You might want to call the news papers and tell they your problems with the Vet service that might get you sorted out quicker. Shit like this makes my blood boil. Wish I could help more.
