Guys do u think 3 x 45w CFl will be enough for one lowryder or any short height autoflower ? I can keep bulbs through whole grow 1"-2"of the top of the plant. Whole grow box covered with mylar plus i am gonna change bulbs when it starts to flower after 3 weeks of sprouting i am gonna change 1 of 3 to cool light after 5 weeks 2 of 3 will be 2700K and at last weeks of flowering all 3 will be cool light. Does anyone knows what is the heat produced from CFL's ?

Sounds fine to me. i myself am in the same predicament i have a 42 watt standard socket cfl, a 65 watt 6500k cfl and two 17 watt 2700k flouros. as far as heat things can get a little hot in the 1-3 inch range i would back them off to about 5-7 inches add a fan and watch it grow. a 21 watt cfl over a lowryder with no added nutrients can grow three grams of dank bud. dont believe me? watch it on youtube..."life of a lowryder #1" what im gettin to is that alot of it is genetics and alot is keeping a stable environment but overall its a smokin little seed :)

i've been doing just that, but use the 26w size
3 of them will take a hybrid to completion, 45w should work fine

DO u have any heat problems ?
my grow chamber is vented with a single PC case fan, that's enough to keep it just cool enough
it's a tight grow chamber, but you just need to fit your bulbs to the right space
mine is 1.2 square feet by 30 inches tall, so something with a bit more volume than a PC case fan would probably be about right

what about smell? im growing 2 regular lowryders under my bed in my apartment and i dont want anyone to notice. i want to grow small plants so im gonna use small pots but still to anyone with experience with lowryders and ones grown small at that...hows the smell factor?

smell is more dicey, plants vary a lot
i've had plants(mine are single plant grows) that have very low smell, not really noticeable
some others have a more noticeable smell, but no stinkers yet
some plants will stink you out, luck of the draw

with plant smell, there are 2 kinds - to me anyways
there are odors that 'walk', and odors that don't seem to travel too far
temperature is your first line of defense, a too warm grow can be the smelly grow
