@ joe thanx.....i know i have 2 different color eyes (but it's hard to tell on the cam) i have green eyes w/ a ittle brown in the left.

oh, joe i will make a grow space w/ new-type of sheet-rock, ply wood, a few studs and real relflctive material. i could get it now but it's either that or HPS lamp. idk yet.

Yep that vid was funny but you seem like a genuine nice guy. Think you have learnt a few small things but still lots to go. Dont chase those harvests just learn to grow first. Try to enjoy growing weed as a hobby and dont expect much bud first time. Your kinda past the seedling stage but find my seedling germination thread posted in this forum somewher and read it back to front and top to bottom, will be good help when you next start seeds. Peace and good luck as i think you got the right attitude to grow some great weed but unfortunatly not the skills, they will come soon bro, find my thread and read. Peace

@ Kinggrow- Thanx man, yes i am humbled by the whole experience. i have a lot to learn, this i know. but i'll tell ya what, if it wasn't for ppl. that i have mentioned before they would have died, thus saving me a lot of trial & erorr. as i learn more and get the help and material to read as offered by ppl. like urself i will get better.

Yer dude its all cool, you got enough people helping without me needing to get involved but lets focus on the long term rather than the immediate plants-
- Most growers loose or stuff up their first crop, probably the second and third too but eventually you start to get it. After 3 crops a year has probably gone by and frustration with crappy plants has made you pull all your hair out! Expect this to start with but keep learning it will come.
- Weed is just a plant, no different to tomatos, cucumbers or any other plant (except you cant smoke a cucumber!lol!) There not magical, special or anything crazy like that. This means good light, good cooling/ventilation and good drainage are more important than the right ferts!
- Why stop practising learning, go buy some cheapo tomato seeds and germinate them, learn to grow them perfect then kill them of young and do it again. Repeating the germination and first few weeks of a plants life again and again and again and again will teach you much more than doing one grow after another.
Did you check my thread, shows basic soil mix for seedlings, germinating them, the fact that i dont need ferts and soil like yours till there way bigger than what you got there?? Go buy some seedling soil, perlite, tom seeds, small pots and jiffy/peat cubes and go read my thread-

@lakewood i used MG. soil.....if i knew then what i know now it would have been different...it's a lerning curve. im still learning everyday something new.

Ok Joey, i reluctantly watched your journal update but hell i kinda like them, so lets talk your plants for a min-
You learned that fertilizer is bad until they need some plus there is already loads in the soil and your plants are still so samll they not even used up the ferts in the soil yet plus miracle grow soil keeps on feeding for quite some time.
Oviously you meant to say seedling soil when you were mentioning fox farms etc etc, start seeds and small plants off in seedling soil and small pots.
I see you have not started some tomato seedlings off and followed my thread of how to germinate and grow a small plant but still i recomend this. Explains basic soil mixes etc etc-

Now for the good growth you are seeing on one or two plants, you describe the ebb and flow thing going on, this is a good result for you, first you just had the ebb!lol! at least now your getting a little flow with this ebb, next all flow and no ebb hopefully. That good growth shows you got the plant environment better, now wether that be not overwatering, stopping overfeeding or simply better temps who knows ( i think a combination of the three!loL!) keep working on these. Soon you will get good growth all the time and will get a little bigger everyday. Unfortunatly the plants ebbing is because your making them struggle for some reason.
Where people say you topped and the plant split into a 'V', this is caused when the top or growing tip looses its 'apical dominance'(Google - Apical Dominance). The same as topping but you didnt actually top the plant. I seen it before many times but not a lot have or know about it. Some reasons why it can happen are bad genetics or weak genetics which can also cause as well a condition called 'whorlled phylotaxy' and three sets of branches not two at each growing node. Apical dominance loss can also be caused by too much heat as well although this again is rare except in new growers who have the lights too close too an already struggling plant like yours, it simply branched cause it couldnt grow upwards. Dont get hung up about it or read too much into it as it means nothing just what happened in a period of bad growth.
By the way those balls or male and female parts are not male and female parts just new growth and branches, give it a week or two and you'll see. Good luck dude

@ KINgrow : I just want u to know i am very grateful (sorry trying hard to concentrate, watching "little fokers" stoned) and have a lot of respect for ya. i appreciate u reading it and be very real w/ me. u emobdy want iam talking about. somone who is @ the apex of their skill level; who treats this as a very real discipine......and it is, like any other discipline like psychology, economics, law, genetics etc. it is when one, like ur self, has such an accumulation of knowledge~ One is then an INTELLECTUAL JUGGERNAUHT....KNOWING all there is from a to z. from pete cups to master the knowledge of hybrids.
I know my limits, i might not reach that strata, i'll try, but @ the very least i know 1 day i can be a good competent grower.
right now i have a lot on my plate= my mom broke her fibia, and sevrely sprained the ankle the oppiste leg. she's been living on the couch for 2 wks. , can't really walk, have to change her potty .....man. she'll recover but i cant wait! plus my daughter, the dog, me, just life on life's terms...i would have written this sooner but when ur not on the site u have to re-log in, and i was busy.
p.s i did think about the tomatoes, but i live on the east-coast....its getting colder. i damm sure cant do it in the house= ppl. will think im loosing my marbles.
