Ehhh. I don't know about that. What's your plan jerbear?
Then you have some to learn dude, surely a flush is to cleanse the soil of what it holds i.e. ferts etc and surely those ferts change the pH of the water they are added to, so when flushed your runoff carries these out the soil and hence the runoff pH is lower (no were not talking acidic soil) so when there are no ferts left in the soil and its cleansed ph7 water added to the soil will not be altered pH wise and hence give runoff of pH7 or close to.

Voila a correct flush, three times the volume of the container flushed through the soil is expected to give the same results which may be the simplified method you use. Peace

Say they're one gallon pots I'd run 3 gallons of full strength florakleen at 6.5. In my opinion a higher ph has no relevance. No disrespect. I see what your logic is, you want it neutral but these are plants that frown at 7.0, 6.3-6.6 is my desired ph on my soil plants. Again no disrespect.

6.5/7 no difference really in soil, i do not worry about pH, lime in my soil worries and deals with that, as long as runoff is pretty much similar to water added in a flush you know your soil is clean. I wouldnt recomend another flush for this guy though, maybe weak ferts but at this point his plant looks like its had enough messing around and i would be tempted to just plain water for a week or two to guage what it needs or dosent, new growth is always a good sign. Peace

well i agree to disagree. we never want 7.0, i honestly think the "runoff" ph or even ppm is inconsistent. My opinion. I only have my moms in soil so my knowledge in for soil isn't as great as hydro, you might be correct but in my exp isnt correct, I beg to differ on needing to learn more about growing cannabis, not being cocky but I think I know what I'm doing. Thinking there's not a lot of difference in ph is ignorant.

I see your in hydro and im soil, so many soil growers get pH wrong. Honestly dude i have done so many threads on pH i just wish someone would sticky the info once and for all.

Basically you need to worry about pH in hydro but soil dude, i water with pH 8+ water and get no negative effects.

Let me explain, water is your growing medium in hydro but in soil, soil, is my growing medium and it contains lime which automatically correct the pH as a buffer so any acidic ions in the water and ferts are neutralised as long as the lime isn't all used up. Now if i didnt have that lime it would be a different story and im talking pH up and down but almost all soil is lime based especially his Keloggs soil as recomended by 'Mandala seeds'.

People overcomplicate pH in soil, lime is my pH up and down basically. I have pics of seedlings grown with 8+pH water if you want a link to my thread dude-

Its the fourth post down, i pulled the pics anyway -

Sorry the Evian bottles just hold my tap water so it can reach room temp.
If you wana buy some cheap ph up and down i got some i never use, practically trying to give the stuff away and regret buying it. Peace

Nothing but respect man, I hear you and understand you thoughts, just not what I do. Yes hydro not so forgiving so I fret on a proper ph. Good thread.

Ah the knowledge is there on soil but getting past all the bs was the hard part. Work with some lime if your worried about pH, at recomended levels it is hard to overdo it plus this stuff is your pH up and down in soil. Unfortunatly it will run out but should at least last a whole grow with ease.

I feel a lot of the hydro growers info on pH got mixed in with soil pH and hence the wide misconceptions. I can name but only a handfull of growers who taught me this pH knowledge on this site but literally hundreds who said otherwise. Im just passing the knowledge on like they did to me.

This guy should take his time to fix this plant, i feel i have contributed my 2 cents worth so i'll leave it to you guys but please dont take my word on pH rather go and question what ive said and get to your own conclusions, when i stopped worrying about pH i found i never had a pH problem again. Peace
