I think what your asking is what do you pH your water and nutes to before adding to the soil. Ph 6.5 to 6.8 is a prefered range. biobizz has very little chemical salts in so dose not alter the pH by much. Lime in the soil will buffer the pH of most things and the soil organisms help in organic grows hence why pH is of little point in limed soils with organic ferts.

As long as your water isnt too high or low pH i wouldnt worry too much with pH and biobizz. Like i said my tap water is close to pH7 and even when i add ferts it dosent go much lower. Chemical ferts need pH'ing more than organic ferts in my opinion but i like to grow organic so i dont worry about them. Peace and hope this helped.

I need some help guys, my tap water are ph8.5, after adding full dose of biobizz I get reading of ph4 ... Am I doing something wrong?
Should I just ph up for 6.5?
I'm using GH drops ph test, I also check last night my runoff water an they are at ph4 ... I had some minor issues hut nothing big ...

Any advice ?

Dont pH with Biobizz,it wont work...the nutes are made to be used with the Biobizz soil,cos it's got pH buffers in it. Using pH up or down will kill/damage the microbiology you depend on to break down the nutes for the plant.

If you wanna use a different soil I'd invest in some dolomite lime (never worry about pH problems again) and feed at 1-2ml of Grow per litre of water for veg and for flower use 1ml grow and 1-3ml bloom per litre. Any more can build up and drop your soil pH really low.

Thanks man, I didn't know that..

However I don't use the biobizz soil, it's impossible to get here, only the nutes.
I'm buying the soil locally, it's good, rich soil with about 30% coco and 30% lava rocks? (forgot the name) .. Then I'm adding perlite to the mix before I plant.

So I should not use any of my ph correction bottles ? If I feed I'm staying at ph4 .. That is very low right? What should I do to get it back at 6.5 ?

Buy dolomite lime and mix it into your soil,you can get it in the vast majority of garden centres. It keeps your pH around 7,acids and bases in your pH adjustment bottles arnt suitable for organic growing,or soil growing really (I personally never pH in soil).

You may need a CalMag supplement tho,the All-Mix soil it's supposed to be use with has massive amounts of Calcium and Magnesium because the ferts are lacking in it.

The Algamic stuff actually supplements the micros Cal and Mag,I just didnt know you had it, so no need for Cal-Mag,just pretreat your soil with the dolomite lime and you're flying!

Too much ferts for one feed dude, dont add the full amount of biobizz, if drops from 8.6 ro 4 then way to much ferts. I have ph8.1 water and ferts drops it to 6.4 at most. Half your doses and i would guess unless this was a one off dose for the month. Peace

I always pretreat my soil with powdered and fine grade dolomite plus have cal/mag which i use like everyother watering, seems good. Peace
