Flowering stunted?

My plant has been in 12/12 for almost 2 weeks and is only showing the Stipulses. I know my grow box isn't light leaking. So what could be the problem?

not enough light in general. What light are you using?

or, more likely, you have an auto flower that starts on its own...
or,

idk. Give more info, like light specs and any other info you have about the grow, exactly where you got the seed/clone, ect

i have the same problem as you im on day 10 of flowering and no sign of sex at all
its from a bag seed

Sativa's? They flower much slower than an indica. That and females normally take longer to show sex... just guessing

It could take longer for it to start too. I have had some in for nearly 2 weeks before they start flowering. If you get to 3 weeks be worried.

dank smoker: Yes its bagseed but its been growing very quickly its been in 12/12 since seed cause i wanted a mini plant for personal use.

ok. give it a week then go buy at least one metal dome shape reflector (12$ at menards) and a big 200 watt cfl (17$) and add it. I would say do that anyway bro one 100 w clf isnt enough to get jack off that plant. just my 2c

nice that like me but i vegged for three weeks but my lights fell on it and burned half of it

i believe i have a sativa and hopefully they just take longer to show

Ths more than just two cents its good facts this guy should listen to. Even if it is a small grow for yourself you still want SOMTHING, and a 100w cfl ain't gonna do it for you. You would get like an 8th of whispy nuglets that have very little thc. More light!

I just think it maybe something to do with genetics or something the seedling had 3 of the oval leafs instead of 2 so it maybe mutated and be stunting the flowering process idk i will see what it does after this upcoming week

lol, had a pure sativa once that took a month to show flowers in 12/12 (and i kept it in 11/13 to speed it up and it was a male(they are quicker by a week with indicas)

but 2 weeks to show flowers is the standard for most hybrids and indicas.
meaning most take 2 weeks, some shorter (some lots shorter) and some longer.

the more sative the more longer, sometimes, like i said, lot longer.

no worries, give it a bit more, since its showing pistils you are probably allright, more light would help but isnt necessery, but with bagseed you are dealing with an unknown, just gotta grow and see.
