I sprouted some seeds a couple days ago and put them into rockwool. Last night they were looking fine i raised them closer to the light. When i came in today liek 5 out of 10 fell over and are touching the rockwool. The rockwool was pretty dry, and i did see some roots coming out the bottom of the wool on some. help did i dry them out?????

its weird because it was a drastic change over a 15 hour period? Could it be that they dried out? They look good the day before, than after i dropped the t5 light about 2 inches, i came in n saw they fell over and the stems got skinny! The rockwool was kinda dry. WHAT COULD IT BE!!!! HELP!

^When they run dry, they will die very soon after that. That's why you never let your medium get totally dry. when people say "let your soil dry out before watering", for example, that's not true. You never let it get totally dry, you let it get close to that point, like 80% dry, then water. With seedlings, you have to be even more careful. As you've witnessed, it's only a matter of hours, before they wilt and die, after running dry.

Could it be anyother factors?
