Gun Question for California

I want to purchase a rifle like an ak47 or a ar15.But to change the magazine on the rifles now you need a little tool to poke a little hole to release the magazine.So my question is can you purchase brand new rifles without that like the old regular magazine release?Or could you have someone build you one?

Wow, cali sucks for guns. I imagine modification ain't legal, either. I guess they think that if you need to defend yourself you won't need more than 10 rounds, or whatever it is they limit you on mag capacity.

Yes to have a legal rifle such as the one you mention it takes a tool to unscrew the mag. The original version is illegal but plentyful on the streets.

they are easy to get ^_^... way faster than a handgun.. walk in with 1k cash.. 10 days later walk out with AR-15 in box

I would rather spend $$$ on a semi-auto benelli shotgun or a Saiga-12 california mod version, it has the same screw clip attachment but who cares.. its a shotgun. <3

have you seen the new kel tec shot gun it holds 14 + 1 and it legal in California because there 2 tubes of 7 bullets and you switch a little switch to change to the other bullets.?
