Id imagine this (clear lightweight) person experienced Butane Honey Oil for the first time and it proper fucked them up...hence the waxy substance they smoked that was like weed...

But honey oil for me was like a light goo. These people described candle like wax pieces being broken off, melted and smoked.

Well I have seen "Oil" hash that was acctually soild. It just depends on the plant material you use to make the hash. Take the Deer Wax hash for example. It is technically an oil, but at room temp is soild, and chunks will snap and break off. Not literally waxy like, I would describe it more as shardy. It breaks of in shards. And yes it is full melt and the best hash I ever smoked. I think this is what dude was reffering to. I'm not sure about the term hippie hash but it sounds like a slang term that could be interprited differntly by region maybe.
