I went to high school with Josh Sitton, he plays right guard for the Packers. We didn't hang out much, but we drank a lot of beer together. We grew up in a small town so everyone kinda chilled even if you didn't like them a whole lot.

Suh said he is the ONE offensive lineman he didn't want to face in the NFL. Kinda cool, we were on the same team 7 years ago lol. Now he got a super bowl ring and started every game last season/playoffs/super bowl.

I think Monday night is a chance for the Lions to show the world they are here to stay for a while...Im not saying they can win every game...but if they beat Chicago, it should open peoples eyes a little.
It's so hard for some people to accept that they are not that 0-16 team anymore, they have they're flaws, but I say they rank in the top 6...IMO.

lol beating a 2-2 team will open eyes? nah soon as you beat an elite team like the patriots or packers i will be a believer in the lions.

I'm not sure about top 6, I haven't done this weeks power rankings yet (yes I'm that big of a sports nerd. I'm a regular John Clayton). But the Detroit Lions are looking very impressive this year. I can't wait to see how that play in the spotlight Monday night. Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson have been playing big, but they haven't played an in-conference game in front of a national venue and their home crowd. With some hype to live up to. People have been talking them up, I think a good portion of the nation almost expects them to win. It will be nice to see if they can step up and...I think if they win, in a close game, or win big, either way I think it will be a statement. Either way going to be a good game to watch. Been 2 weeks now of shitty Monday night games (imo), going to be good to see a nice NFC North battle on MNF!!

I kinda was getting at a monday night win thing...and Chicago does have recent superbowl experience...so for the Lions to get the 5th win on monday night, against Chicago, 2-2 or not, it WILL open the eyes of people who have doubts....obviously not you...you always have negative shit to say...but for people who ENJOY the game...it will be a very important win...if we win.

you've been bashing since week 1...but we're 4-0?...huh

...it's been over 30 years, whats wrong with us enjoying it...I'm not yelling "superbowl"...just lovin the haters eating the'r words every week...like you.

i enjoy it i just dont enjoy everyone riding the lions dicks they got 2 wins from teams that havent won a game this season ill give you props on the cowboy game that was a sweet come back. they have super bowl experience 10 years ago... lol im just saying if you get down against an actual good team like they usually do they wont come back.

It's an NFC North game in national spotlight. Matt Forte is looking good. The bears have lost to the Super Bowl winners and the high powered offense of the Saints. It's as big of a game the Lions could get in week 5 without facing the Packers.

I can agree with that, they aren't proven yet. They have a long way to go, it's only week 5. But they don't look like the Lions of late, that's why I'm interested. I don't mean to appear to be hopping on the bandwagon. I'm just extremely intrigued, that's all.

hahaha, Cutler is AWFUL!!! Why is it so difficult to do a 3 or 5 step drop and sling a pass? Why does he back-peddle like he does? It's so amateur, and it seems like it would be an easy thing to fix. But every year he comes out and back-peddles and gets sacked more than anyone lol.

there offensive line sucks ass also and the lions d line with suh is beast so its not even gonna be a game... unless they hand it to matt forte the whole game.

and the excuses start 2 days early...I love it
Nah, they go in knowing that's their gameplan. They can win with it. If they lose, Detroit out-played them. It sounds crazy, but they can have that bad of a gameplan and still win.

Psh, Forte will be busy running into Suh's gut. Unless he runs outside into VandenBosch's arms. And I'm a Vikings fan :( Gotta give respect where it's due though, they got some real potential up front.
