cannot find mylar

so I am groing two clones inside a cardboard box with CFLs
everything is set up nicely and the plants are doing fine (beside some spider mite trouble)

but i cannot find mylar anywhere, i've been to every hardware store in town and non have it.
I read tin foil can burn your plant but i also read somewhere that they used the dull side of the foil.
my questions is, is this safe? using the dull side of tin foil or would it be better to just not have foil?

any suggestions? i feel like if the brown wasn't absorbing all the light the plants would be doing even better.

thank you guys.

Emergency blankets are made from mylar, one of those should be easy to find. If not, a can of white spray paint.

You have no hardware store or any kind of general supplies store? Where do you live? The Russian Tundra? Antarctica? The middle of Africa? Wyoming?lol

It all depends on how much you need ... I have seen some people use the remants from a mylar balloon with some favorable results ... But they did not need much and only used (3) of these ... As stated above, white paint would be the alternative here as that reflects 90% of the light ... In the olden days, a lot of us used tin foil as you said, but this always burnt the leaves ... Good luck in your endevours tho mate ...

Yea, like some others are saying, too. The white paint is almost just as good, if you can't find anything.

I am using Reflectix. It is an insulation, light and thermal. I got mine at menard's. It is like a bubble wrap between two Mylar blankets. I believe it reflects 95% of light.
