About how tall should your plant be before you switch to 12/12 flower cycle? I know it depends on strain and stuff but what would be a good guideline? I hear a lot of people give dates and and say after a month but i am a beginner grower and i have a feeling my plants wont be growing 2" a day. Maybe there is a better way to tell then height, if thats so then what is that?

I made the mistake and let mine vegg for too long Appx 3.5 feet and six weeks. Now that they are flowering they are growing far too tall for my grow space. I hvae had to tie them back. Still doing good and could increase my yield
So to answer your question. I would say at about four weeks and depending on your grow space as they are going to keep growing once you switch to 12/12. Smaller bushy plants are cool.

Thats right! also, 4 weeks is a good guideline to make sure you get a good yield but you do have to keep in mind the hight of your flowering area,
