A trick I like to do w bushy plants is to drill holes sons the top rim of the pot every say 6 inches..uh...15cm.. I think.. Next take plant Velcro. It's green fuzzy on one side hook on the other. Cut the velcro into 3 inch..7 1/2 cm pieces . Loop these around the midpoint of each branch. Next I like to use the green twist tie material on the rolls. It's like a bread bag twist tie but one long roll. Take one end and put it into the Velcro loop and twist the tie. This puts no constricting pressure on the stem. Next feed out as much tie as need to reach the holes drilled in the rim of your pot. Line upbto the hole that would place your beach at the desired angle. Next put the cut end through the hole in the pot. Now pull the wire as taught as you can without crackingnor Kinking the stem. You can work all the branches down and out doing this. I sometimes do the bending in stages. The beauty of the twist wire is you can pull taught twist of... Wait a few days and give a slight pull then retwist. No roes to cut and retie. Unusual this method to even out the canopy so the light can really be used to full efficiency. This also is a huge help with then ones that want to grow tall. Be slow w the split were you top your plant, I've split mynplant like a wishbone before w this method. Nonproblem though. Taped it up with medical tape . After a week it grew a huge nuckle and then went on to flower like a champ. I like this more than scrogg because the plants can still be moved. I've seen bamboo laid horizontal on the pots top.. Tied down. This alows you to full the largest tops down so all parts of the plant get full light. Eager to see how the tangerine turns out. Have heard good and bad. But opinions are like assholes...Every has one.
