OK, So my cheesequake plant was dried this morning and I put it in jars and sampled 2 sets of 2 bongloads. Few notes for you to be aware of in my grow first:
First of all I have this plant semi seeded with a flav male, so that may effect the high. More importantly I harvested exactly on week 8, but the plant itself did need another week to week and a half to finish properly. I was forced to harvest because due to a failed electric company and power outtages which blew my bulb I had to put 1 more than I was legally alowed to have. 4 plants in flower instead of 3, even though they are spaced apart over a month to finish. ANywho I harvested due to people working on my home and not wanting more than I am legally allowed flowering, that and bad outdoor weather led to me harvesting early. Now the plant was "finished" but it wasn't at its fullest effect. That being said here we go.
Took two loaded bongloads one after the other.
The taste was "minty" for lack of a better word, the cheese and the fruity pebbles querke taste together give a mint smell and high as the meeting point between those two smells nad flavors.
The high is very indica body. I feel this as a major body stone, and its very very good. Now the high of cheesequake is much more mature then the silly saturday morning high of the querkle. This strain KILLS PHYSICAL PAIN, i even started pinching myself to test it when i realized how my body buzzed and was surprised that I couldnt bring myself to pain. The head is relaxed but otherwise not effected, no confusion, zero paranoia. In fact my parents dropped by 10 minutes after my second round of two bonghits and I was completly able to deal with them with no problems, i may have seemed rather quiet and not quick to speak, but I felt zero paranoia. The body feeling is similar to really good bubba kush I had last year in that you don't get much head buzzing but the body buzzing more than makes up for it. I played the xbox game Dragons Age Origins (first time playing) RPG and I could focus on quests and pay attention all the while my body was numbed and I was very very relaxed and high. t Very nice, I thought I didn't like indica stones much but this is a really good one. Zero nausea with it too and I feel like I can eat a full plate of food without any pain or nausea or sick feeling.
This is Medical weed, none of the negatives ususally associated with great weed, but lots of bonuses. Now I didn't notice any mental zing, or any euphoria either but I was definetly in a good mood from it regardless. ALthough I would not lable this a "happy" weed I sure as hell know it cheers me up without making me overly cheery. You wont be depressed on it but you also wont be all giggly, more of a wise relaxed content feeling with functioning brain. Great weed if you suffer from physical pain/nausea but want to get your work done as well (although careful, work stress has killed more human beings than marijuana ever has, so use work in moderation).
It definetly shows you what high CBD does for you, a complex body numbing effect. Reminds me of vicodin body high a lot (although I honestly don't touch that kinda crap anymore, vicodin is poison, but if I ever need vicodin i'll grow myself some cheesequake instead).
I think the most useful use of this strain is if you have a lot of physical stress, or if you work out a lot and have muscle pain or achey joints, you smoke this and you will feel your pain melt away instantly. The high lasted me about an hour and a half give or take but I have a feeling if I had let it go 9 weeks like it should have the high would be even stronger and last longer.
Great morning painkiller high that wont ruin your mind for functioning in public during the day. Very very useful medicine. More to come as I cure and bring out more flavor.
This is a completely different high than I expected given my prior experience with TGA Subcools zingy, zooming, sativa leaning highs (even with querkle when I think of it), but it is STRONG body numbing and relaxing without being confusing to the mind. Perhaps its just hte "minty" pheno I got, almost a perfect mix of the fruity pebbles querkle smell and the musty cheese smell. This strain is win.
