I agree with this too. most "patients" are abusing the system. The vast majority of card holders that I know, have no real medical condition that qualifies them for use. They just ponied up a couple hundred bucks to DR feelgood working out of a hotel room for their approval.
That however doesn't justify "care givers" helping them abuse the law.
i don't go begging for patient's my list has been full, they come to me begging for the next slot ;^)if you are a grower, why do you want or need my growing rights in the first place?
if you are willing to ask me to sign my rights over to you, you better be willing to pay. you obviously need me as much as i need you or you wouldn't need me.
why would a grower take on a patient in the first place?
Most "patients" ? Funny seeing that in a thread filled with meat puppets admitting they are breaking the law and justifying it with little more then idiocies calling themselves caregivers.
repeat customer's and not being able to keep up with demand speaks for itself, now if couldn't give it away then i would start lookin into clinical's.my "patient's" love me.
I don't smoke marijuana you fucking meat puppet, I consume a prescribed medication.your breaking the law every time you smoke marijuana
that's not what the federal gov. say's selfrighteous a$$.your an addict plain and simple.I don't smoke marijuana you fucking meat puppet, I consume a prescribed medication.

That to me makes no sense then! A dispensary is nothing more than an establishment in which P to P transfers are occuring, so why would it be any different for an individual doing the same thing?? Because they don't have some big storefront! How the F* would that make any difference? Why would a court not treat you as a dispensary if you were transferring to any patient holding a card? And apparently nothing of value can be exchanged for the CG's services! I think they all need to hit the pipe a little more, or perhaps for the first time!
I'm still sticking to just my own patients as I don't see it clear enough in the law to cover my ass in court.
This is correct, a caregiver in Michigan is only allowed compensation from HIS REGISTERED patients.

and my question was, ... "why do you accept them?"

why do doctor's accept patient's?it's that simple it might be hard for a lot of broke lazy people but that's the way the world works.and my question was, ... "why do you accept them?"

I'd never take on a patient..I prefer avoiding "caregiver" status...and I certainly don't need more plants. My 12 are enough to supply more than 5 patients. A true care giver could supply 5 people without needing more plant count. The reason they want plant count is to over grow and profit.
It would however be nice to be able to transfer my overages and recoop my costs...but legally I can't do that right now.
Although it is still a federal crime, the feds aren't looking for the self growing patient..they are looking for the ass wipes that trade an oz per month for the rights to the patients 12 plants.
The 12 plant count per person was intended to allow the individual self grower an adequate number of plants to establish a continual harvest grow. A few in veg, a few in the cloner, a few in flower..with enough plants to guard against failed crops. It was not intended to allow people to have 60 plants for 5 people, and only give the patients 1 oz per month, while cash cropping the rest.
The self righteous attitude of "care givers" like Count is exactly why the State is tightening the laws.
wow, way over your simple head.
