As I understand it, he dispensaries are out for selling weed from rental property. Is it still legal for a care giver to grow on rental property and sell to his patients? What if you grow on your own property?

Renting or not really has nothing to do with it, that particular deal had to do with county land... Technically you can't sell anything as a caregiver, however you can be reimbursed for the cost of producing the medication.
As far as can you grow on rental property, ultimately its up to the landlord. Many apartments around the valley have sent out notices saying you are welcome to use MMJ if you have a card, however due to them receiving federal funding of some kind, growing is out of the question. In prop 203 there is language that will not allow discrimination based on card status, but it doesn't say anything about protecting your right to grow (unfortunately).

I agree some of it's gotten out track however I stand by opinion. Like Bryan said its totally up to the land lord. Some are cool with it and some aren't.

To be honest the landscape of legality is so ever changing here right now that I wouldn't even bother to learn much until your getting close to the time or move. Its almost a daily thing here right now, there are numerous lawsuits pending, all of which could slightly change the outcome of how things operate. We try to stay on top of it, but its constantly evolving.
i guess this is where the $400 is going. since when is IT a cost incurred from producing medicine?

yeah and I'm mostly noticing its a lot of uninformed patients like older folk who arent too familiar with the MMJ community. Thats why I been posting. You wont see me make a fake screen name just to post on their forums, I'll continue to post and speak my opinion on the matter , hell I voted for the law to pass therefor I will speak on matters related to the MMJ community in AZ.
