This whole cali dispensarys shutting down issue well what happens to the patients who grow for themselves? Ive read many different things on the cali dispensary issue. Many people say its ALL dispensarys and others say its a select 16 dispensarys who are making huge profits. But my biggest question is can patients still grow for themselves?

you have to apply for some sort of growing license now, they changed it. You could before, but now you have to take one extra step. They made it a little more official I think. But, it does blow to have to pay high prices, when they're is supposed to be a non-profit organization... none of the clubs are supposed to make money... its like a church with a rich ass pastor hahaha... raping little kids.. hahah jk... but you get the point.. every clinic is breaking laws... some just cover it up on paper better

that is disturbing, but hilarious and answers the question in all in one...

You could have at least sugarcoated it a bit

Yeah its pretty obvious they are making profits. They buy pounds and pounds of bud from medical growers for dirt cheap... Like as cheap as $1000-$1500 a pound and they sell it for $20 a gram? How is that compassionate at all? At $20 a gram equals to about $9000 a pound. So I can see where they screw up. Any more info on that growing license though??

I dont think the Feds are going to go after med patients growing for themselves. They are after high profile targets.

Yes but will the MMJ laws still be in effect on a state level? Like if local police show up at my door will I have problems? Im not worried about feds because they dont even go for illegal grows if its small scale.

No laws have been changed. What's happened is a policy change on the part of the Feds. CA MMJ laws remain the same. I do understand that med patients probably want to stay within the law, but for those running small unlicensed grows I doubt the state is going to go after them. They may even be decent about it and expedite licensing for individual grows.

The growers lic. Is for someone growing more plants than for personal consumption. The standard personal consumption in most of the state is 6 mature (budding) or 12 immature plants. You could have 6 veg and 3 flower or whatever sticks to the 2:1 ratio. Different county's have their own limits but the "standard" fall back numbers for the state are the 6:12 per person. Not too cool if you do sea of green but more than fine if growing 6 trees
