Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

how much are you feeding (mag) them? Magnesium is a macronutrient and is used almost as much as NPK.. I use 2 teaspoons per gallon every watering in flowering.. They don't eat much in veg but gobble a shitload in flowering, especially early stages of flowering

I would foliar feed with magical once a day for 4-5 days. It will go away.

Just make sure to back your lights off a bit when foliar feeding, and to spray BOTH sides of the leaves.. It will take a little while for you to notice anything but that should do the trick.. P.S. don't overdo it or you will burn the shit outta your ladies (been there done that)

And if your in soil I would add lime next run cause the root of your problem could be that your soil has become acidic and is locking out the magnesium

I just read this whole thread and from page one i could tell that you had Mg Def. due to Ph Lockout.....
Soil ph testers are not effective, spend the extra 30 bux (40 total) and get a digital pen tester.. (or if you have the money to spend get a good one for 80-120)..
Everything Max said is right on just go with that theres no use in me repeating it.....

The thing is there is lime in it.. maybe I didn't put enough. I don't know. As for how much magical she getting, I have to go home to check. Will update.

Also, the other guy who posted pics on pg6 leaves look very similar.

If it's powdered lime then IMO it runs out pretty quickly, I always add powdered and pellets because by time the powder is done being effective that's when the pellets kick in

Makes perfect sense then.

So here is the plan, bros. When lights flip on I'm going to foliar feed with MagiCal enhanced water. The ratio will be 2.5ml per gallon (1/2 tsp per gallon). I will do this once a day.
The next thing I'm going to do is spread some more powdered lime on the topsoil and lightly water it. I figure I'll throw in 1 tbsp and water. Next watering add another tbsp.

Hopefully with these two steps everything will work out. I don't think adding extra magical to her when I water will be necessary with the foliar feeding and lime, do you agree?

Thanks for all the help.

Also another question regarding foliar feeding, I understand you want to minimize how much gets on the buds? Is foliar feeding safe this far into budding?

1 dose of lime should be enough.. more doesn't always equal better. Just make sure what your foliar feeding with is made to be able to be applied that way. Is that magical a calmag supplement?

Having second thoughts about foliar feeding with all this budding going on. A lot of stuff is saying to stop when they reach a certain size.

Are there any major pitfalls about foliar feeding with this much flowering occurring? Should I stick with the lime application and wait?

to avoid any issues that might occur from foliar feeding during heavy flowering, I don't think I'm going to do it.

Instead, I'll put the tbsp of lime on the topsoil. I'll water that with plain distilled until I feel it is nice and saturated into the soil. Then, I will continue watering after with MagiCal enriched water. Since I'm adding lime I'll try to stick to 1/2 tsp per gallon to avoid excess Mg.

Does this seem like a good solution to you guys? Don't think it will be too much Mg with the lime+Magical, do you? The soil is about some 4 gallons deep probably.

soil is moist. top inch or so is kinda dry though. I'm going to follow through with the lime +water a bit with magical plan. let me know what you guys think

As you can see, there is now yellowing occurring on the most effected leaves (the ones in the middle of the canopy).

I would bet money at this point that there is no bugs here. The other girl in the closet is looking happy as can be and her leaves are basically intertwined with this girl when they are together (closet is small -.-)

Right, so just put a generous tablespoon of powdered dolomite spread evenly on the topsoil. Then, poured half gallon of distilled with 2 tsp of magical in it. This is roughly 1/2 of the manufacturers recommended dosage (a little more).

Fingers crossed guys.

Thinking about the problems the plant has had, it seems entirely possible when I flushed her with 3 gallons a week ago (in response to her leaves burning on the bottom) a lot of lime got washed away and there was no Mg in the soil. It is the only logical explanation I can come up with at this time, and will make sense if she responds well to the treatment I just administered.

Hey Headies, sounds like you got some good help here. I think your on the right track with replacing the Mag after the flush. If I were you I would look into a good 2 part fert that contains all the essentials and try that for a bit instead of mixing a lot of stuff (sometimes simple is not just easier but it can be better) to get the right ratios of ferts. For me when I grew in soil I liked my PH to be around 6.5 at runoff.
How I measured was to take my pot and put it in a clean tub larger than my pot, water like normal but when I start to get a little out of the pot I save that and test it. So what I do then is adjust the PH of my water on the next watering to keep me at 6.5. Also if I am really low I might add a little lime. I am sure you have seen this chart but printing it may help. Good luck and happy growing.

Edited to add: Also your right about foliar feeding this late in flower, IMO I wouldn't but if you did a little I would just make extra certain not to get my flowers wet. Some of those fans and sucker leaves though you could probably safely hit but I don't know if it's worth it.
