Small update.
After letting around 60% (100gr) of the buds hang for 5 days they are ~70% dry and I just jarred them along with bark of lemmon, grape fruit and orange (just for some extra flavor)
I harvested the rest just now and I will dry them shorter because the nugs are conciderably smaller on the later harvest.
Update in a few days.
PS. I notice that after re-vegging I get alot smaller nugs but more of them. I've thrown away A LOT of hedges and brances and undeveloped nugs.

do you htink re-veg'ing is best left for mother plants or do you think it is worth actually flowering plants more than once?
i usually do it for my moms and when i do re-flower them they're left in a corner somewhere, so not taken seriously for the yield.

In my opinion I think revegging flowered/harvested plants is very good idea if you can keep them bushless.
You can get many sprouts/branches from re-vegged plant and therefor good candidate for mother plant.
I will not choose to revegge plant for yields sake, I would rather have less big colas/buds than the bushy waste that
I throw away.
I think the wheight of all that I cut of the plants while re-vegging was around 10 pounds.
I'm going to topp my next crop and have more plants with less bush. (aiming for 4-5 tops per plant)

dude re-vegging is always worth it. I always re-veg the good plants. you can also use it for seed production

If you have plants ready for flowering when you harvest you will shave 2-6 weeks of your cycle
because you need to restart the vegging phase and then have them vegging for some time.
I always have plants ready when I harvest unless when I HAD to re-vegge because all my clones died.
Now I have enaugh to start a fresh crop and a mother.

Yeah it's possible.
before the web was around spreading bullshit, people just treated marijuana like any other plant. Most plants will grow back in the right conditions.... true annual plants are quite rare i think. the actual classificatrion of plants need to change, because cannabis is not an annual in every environment. even in the wild cannabis can live for years if the winters are not too harsh.

at about 6 they started to be a bush more than anything with very small popcorn buds..
still killer smoke though

I'm sure that you don't have to transplant in DWC. I'm doing a drip system and I didn't transplant and they did ok.
You can go ahead without transplanting and share your experiance on this thread. Then we will add to the knowledge
because we have Soil grows and Drip System. Would be great to see the results from DWC.
Will do. I'm in soil at the moment until i move and settle again. I wanted to try DWC after and the root growth is something i wanted to make sure of. Also, as an alternative, since a plant needs to grow even more roots during the revegging, does that mean that the mass clump of roots already there is not enough on its own? What if i trimmed it down to size so that it could grow new roots during that time to replace them then? Or would that just slow overall growth until it regenerates that original rootball and then some?

I think it's ok to trim those roots a bit after you harvest. I heard that your plant doesnt need all it's roots so it kills them off. Trimming them should ease the plants effort to start vegging again. And when it needs more rootmass it has space in the repotted soil. I think that it would slow the overall growth if you DON'T trim the roots and replant and I think it will also slow overall growth if you trimm the root mass TOO MUCH. So you should try to find the middle way

I think the best way to bring back a harvested plant back alive is to save all the fan leaves and save the small popcorn nugs. Next u have to switch your time back to your veg state. Then u just have to give it superthive at 1ml and some grow nutrients with high N at 1/4 dosage a gallon for two weeks. I use maxi grow and bloom bc it works and is stupid cheap. Make sure to use hydrozyime to clear off the dead roots too. Dont forget to foliar feed the. Leaves with nutes it will aid in rejuvinating it faster. In time it will grow back. After harvest your plants are under alot of stress it takes time to heal the wounds u did to it. Always use super thrive and never try toyellow or kill your fan leaves. Keep in mind you should never over nute your plants so all u need is good flush two days before harvest to take out the old salt build up if you use chemicals. Remember farmers don't flush their crops so why should u! That's my green thumb! Peace
You can comfortably hack off 1/3 to 1/2 your roots, I'd really suggest doing so if revegging in DWC, or using an enzyme product, as those old roots will certainly have some decaying matter.

Bullshit. I'm flowering the same plushberry for a 2nd time in the SAME coco in the SAME pot with no root trimming. I flowered her, and then just switched to veg nutes at 1/2 strength nutes. 2 weeks later new growth started, by 4 weeks I was getting 3 blade leaves, by 6 weeks normal growth started.
Once you have a good amount of new growth started, then trim as much of the remaining popcorn buds off. Too much new growth will make weaker scragly growths and new growth will keep poppin out as long as there are buds remaining.
So far I'm using the same method on my pineapple express and my anesthesia.
