There are thousands of jobs availiable right now especially since it's harvest season all across the country, just those fucking losers at OWS are too lazy to go get them because it's easier to sit on their asses in a park and complain that something wasn't handed to them on a silver platter.
And Wall Street didn't fuck you, your stupid neighbors and their inability to read a contract and control their borrowing and spending fucked you, go yell at their stupid asses.
And it's entirely wrong for you ton "ass"ume that any and all who are protesting are nothing but a bunch of jobless lay-abouts looking for free stuff.
They are from all walks of life.
Because they are all of us.
Corporations are NOT citizens.
The board members most certainly ARE citizens, and they have the same access to voting booths as the rest of us.
They should NOT be given extra privelages just because they could afford to buy into a legal pyramid scheme early on.
Lobbying should be illegalized, instead, it is encouraged and rewarded greatly.
Because who wants to turn down "free" stuff?
They want two things in life: to scam as much money as possible in as short a time as possible, and/or to scam as much money as possible over a lengthy career.
Funny someone should mention how we should yell at our neighbors for their bad purchasing decisions.
When my wife & I bought our first house 8 years ago, we were approved for up to $275,000 (credit score of 800, and we had $20,000 cash to use as down payment).
The real estate agent immediately starts in with the most we expensive houses that we could "afford".
We slowed her roll and let her know that we know we can only SAFELY afford to borrow "X" amount, that we had run all the numbers and this is what we could afford.
She tried a few times to talk us into more than we could safely afford.
She assured us we could afford it, and yes, we could have.
But one health catastrophe or job catastrophe would have put that very quickly in jeopardy of loan default.
Even after I explained that even a fixer-upper in need of TLC would be great, as I am a former carpenter/home builder and also ran a handyman service.
We insisted that we were not going to buy a house for more than $115,000 ($95,000 after the down payment).
I could see the look in her eyes as she saw a large portion of her COMMISSION flying out the window when we insisted on a much less expensive house.
And she STILL made $3,000.
Is that not enjough for a day of work? Before you think she was one who went to homes and staged them up real nice: exact opposite. Some of the places she showed us she admitted to never having been to and had no idea about what they were really like.
She was about as useless to us as JPEGS to Hellen Keller.
We made it easy as pie for her, she only had to show us about 5 houses, which took 2 hours in one afternoon, did another couple of hours of paperwork after we'd signed-off on it.
My point is, it's not just the banks, or the people who should have thought twice, it's also the entire real estate industry who craves higher and higher sales figures and the agents who want to make as much money as possible for doing as little as possible.
And you know who sits at the top of the moneybag?
Members of the board who only want more money.
It's human nature to be greedy, and to want "more".
Some are trying to not live their lives that way, and should be applauded, not vilified.
The problem in this country has been systemic since it began.
This country was built up by greed, avarice, and the willingness of a small percentage of "humans" to kill and oppress any who stand in the way of making money.
Freedom, equality, and justice for all was a rallying cry.
But everything that has come from those grand ideals was built up by murder, slavery, and oppression.
Is it a wonder we are so lost and conflicted?
If you want a glimpse of our future, should the tides not turn in our favor, look to China to see how your kids & grand kids will be existing.
Not living.
Existing.
Serving at the pleasures of Corporations and the government that empowers them to do so.
Will they be proud of their ancestors who ushered in the new era of a Corporate government?
Or will they think of us with sadness for the seeds that we let grow?

"When they turn the pages of history
When these days have passed long ago
Will they read of us with sadness
For the seeds that we let grow?
We turned our gaze
From the castles in the distance
Eyes cast down
On the path of least resistance
Cities full of hatred, fear and lies
Withered hearts and cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude and
Scoffing at the wise
The hypocrites are slandering
The sacred Halls of Truth
Ancient nobles showering
Their bitterness on youth
Can't we find the minds that made us strong?
Can't we learn to feel what's right
And what's wrong?
What's wrong?
Cities full of hatred, fear and lies
Withered hearts and cruel, tormented eyes
Scheming demons dressed in kingly guise
Beating down the multitude and
Scoffing at the wise
Can't we raise our eyes and make a start?
Can't we find the minds to lead us
Closer to the heart?"
