In theory, yes. In practice ... the search function is atrocious, and relevant threads have their day or two of visibility on the 1st or 2nd page of a subforum's thread list. There are stickied threads that are still open for general chatter. Expecting a noob to mine through that isn't realistic, and it smacks of site-veteran snobbery. Jmo. cn

The seach function should somehow incorporate googles hits. Because if you search somthing in google, and put Rollitup after you get some good results

I'm sure Google uses RIU's view count, not their own. If there was a way to sort the results by view/post count, I'm sure it would help lead to a good thread.
