Yeah, wtf...another absurd addition to an absurd drug policy. Now Dutch coffeeshops are prohibited from selling cannabis with more than 15% THC, and anyone caught with proper weed will be punished like it was a hard drug. How can they compare cannabis to stuff like heroin and methamphetamine? There are already a host of ridiculous laws designed to make it hard to grow your own, and even harder for coffeeshops to operate, but they just keep coming up with "brilliant" ideas...the weed-pass is being introduced in the Southern half of the country at the end of this year, coffeeshops are closing left and right, grow-ops (even small and/or legal ones) are being busted every day, and there is no end in sight...it feels like while the rest of the western world is slowly moving toward legalization, The Netherlands, known for its liberal policies, is moving backward.
