First of all if you dont already have one go out and buy a four way meter (ppm,ph,moisture, soil temp) they make growing so much easier. monator and control your h20 ph and try to keep it at a steady 6.5. Soil Ph should be between 6.5 and 7.0. now that your flowering you want to keep the humidity below 55% to avoide mildew and aid in co2 absorbtion. what kind of nutes do you use and how much/how often?
I do have a soil meter, but it's a cheap one and doesn't seem to be too accurate. I need to pick up a digital meter after this crop.
The Humidity has been averaging about 37%, temps 74 -82 degrees F. I've been using Alaskan Fish fert (5-1-1) for the 2nd thru 4th week from seed, since that's about the span of vegetative growth for the LowRyder 2's.
During the 4th week from seed, I use a combo of Fox Farm Big Bloom/ Alaskan Fish fert, and then I finish the last 4 weeks of flowering with Big Bloom, Snow Storm Ultra and Blackstrap Molasses. I also use Epsom Salt on weeks 2, 4, and 6 if they look deprived. On weeks 7 thru 8 and a 1\2, I just feed with blackstrap molasses for bulk and flavor.
I water about twice a week, only feeding on one of the waterings, just to give them a rest in between. Also, I only use one half to two thirds of what the labels suggest, because the lowryder strains seem to be kinda sensitive to nutes. There's 26 of em in 2 gal. grow bags under a 1000w hps with a light mover on a 20/4 light cycle.
I was using Gravity on my last round, and it works real well, but someone on here told me that it contains carcinogens, so I cut that out, just in case the guy was right. Any advice on my schedule or any recommendations on what to add/delete would be greatly appreciated. thx
