I'm just trying to make it so as many people as possible will attend. Maybe some people wouldn't show up because they don't have any place to stay.

If you really want to attend, just get there!

Another thing they do out there is fly gas planes.. the ones that take off in the water. And some of em are big. I shot this pic in June, After getting yell'd at by them.. as our seadoo's were in thier runway.. haha... a couple of em played chicken with each other and crashed head on.. lol. Dude was pi$$ed off.. his motor sank as well. Here is the remnants of what were probably two $500+ planes..

Here is a pic of the place I have in mind.... view from the water to the shore. Beat that. Right on the water and its big and flat.

Weezer.. if you get out there this weekend, check this area out. North shore area, the south shore is closed anyway during the winter. Near the end of the big parking lot. Only a short stagger to the shore to fish 8) If you dont make it, I will get out there the following weekend and take more pics. Cant make this weekend, committed already or I would meet up with ya. Us local guys will bring the firewood ;) Lotso firewood will be mandatory!

Ya i just though about that i might bring a bunch of firewood. Goin to def need it! A nice fire great friends around cant get much better than that!

I need to go to the tag office too get my tag on my little PU truck so I can haul wood. I got a wood guy, I can get a half cord cheap for the party. I'm gonna try to get out there this weekend.

thats the plan rt? no one is debating we have the place and date chosen,correct?that video was awesome man! i sure miss the sound of those motors!

Just a heads up for anyone that is not a constant fisherman but wants to fish for this weekend. You should just get a 1 day pass for the lake because in the state of California a fishing lic is good for the calendar year year NOT 12 months from date of purchase. It would suck to pay $50 for a full license and only get to use it 1 day.

Thanks, you guys.I'll check out Wheatland and Lincoln. It would be nice to bring the trailer as it is self contained and don't need a shore cord but getting up there in a timely matter is more important. Less bagage lol

I have tons of OAK firewood, don't buy any and just take a nice drive to calaveras county and we can load up as much as you need!! I have alot already stacked and tons more that I downed last year its been seasoned and will burn long....I would cut the rest but my brother inlaw ran over my chainsaw, but there should be more than enough already cut, if not I also have 2 piles of precut logs in 3-4 foot sections.

This sounds like a great time! I just had to google what "tri-tip" was hahaha. the wikipedia for that was quite interesting. The date is my one year anniversary seperation from the military. I'll be there in spirit haha

Thats awesome! Let us know if help is needed probobly go through some wood. i gotta get some for sure. Will see kotton mouth kings in a few days go over some ideas.

Yeah man anyone with a truck and a chainsaw is welcome. I'd bring it all if I still had my truck, its been a rough last 2 years. My window cleaning business in Sacramento went under and I didn't have the $$ to fix the tranny in my truck and was having $$ problems sold the truck to pay other bills and keep a roof over our heads. I actually cut all that wood with the intention of selling it for $$ but after I lost the truck that plan sorta went out the window and its just sitting there.

I tried to do a few barters on craigslist where they pick up but no bites, so fuck it lets burn it!!!!:hump::joint:

I know all about the tranny deal im getting mine rebuilt next week and its 6 k cash. Its a diesel and getting triple disc torque converter and billet input shaft should be good for another 150 k miles. Im going to try and make this but all depends on work around that.
