Blue Mystic x5 / feminised / first attempt with this strain from Nirvana.....

4 ladies are now 4 days from showing pre-flower and are indeed all female , Nirvana seem to me to be very reliable for a seedbank that is in the lower end of the market , keep up good work guys , all looking healthy and growing the same , the Other BM was topped and has only just come out of my veg room ............

I have a BM plant that is about 45 days into flowering. I'll take some pics of her today and post. Slow bud development over the first few weeks of flower but over the last 2 weeks she has packed on the buds. I can answer most questions about this strain.

Hi, been watching with interest and they're looking nice. Thinking of growing bm myself but must be careful with the neighbours and have heard that these are low odour. Would you say it's possible to grow these without stinking out the whole building ? Thanks in advance

Hows your topped mystic doing? Im curious as to how the strain responds, not quite sure if I wanna top them or leave them uncut.

Was grown from seed and vegged for about 1.5 months to get some decent clones before flowering. From dirt to the tallest tip its 66cm or 26 inches tall and is in a 5 gal pot. This plant normally grows real straight stems and needs some reinforcement because the buds can get heavy. I kept it clean underneath for better airflow under the plant. I topped it at the 4th node. Cant wait to smoke... I may take a tiny clipping tonight or tomorrow.

Oh yes and very low odor until the end...It just starting smelling really great over the last few days.

Hi , i will post more pics later tonight with close ups of the topped 1 , its responding very quickly indeed , with 4 main shoots formed , its too early to say if it will produce more than the non topped plants but stay around and we will soon see , its about 8 days behind the other 4 as i had to veg it for longer....

To early for me to advise on the smell as i am only just into flower , they did not smell at all during veg though , i will let you know...

awesome info and a very nice plant , ty very much , i am wishing i had topped all 5 now , is it your opinion that the plant gains from topping , or do you think 1 main cola would produce the same amount anyway ? , i also trim away lower level growth as the plant diverts all its energy into the higher flowers , imo this is where the more marketable nuggets are anyway....

Update 4 Bm's going well and stretching out nicely , i have trimmed some lower growth off of all of them , some close ups of the Topped Bm including were it was topped at the 5th node ,
"2 x G-bomb clones that are 5 weeks into flower both were topped and some lst by hand.........

My opinion on topping is that you need to have the room and some extra time for it. Actually my new mystic plants I just put into flowering will not be topped because I want to grow Christmas trees for my christmas harvest. I just want to produce a mega bud Christmas tree.

To make the topping work better I spent about 2 more weeks in veg to have the 4 colas race for the apex before I induced flowering So right now I have many stalks with buds but the plant takes up a lot of space and eats a lot of organic nutes. When I get to my grow room today I'll post a pic of the full plant so you can see.

Blue Mystic clones very very quickly , i have gone from plant -root riot cube - pot , in just 7 days , 2 from each plant , 10 in all , now i just wait see which pheno turns out best , bin the other 8 , and pitch me a mother Blue Mystic.......

beautiful plants, blue mystic is one of the strains ive always dreamed of growing. hopefully one day ill be able to check it off my list and have cute ladies like yours good luck with the rest of your grow!

I grew blue mystic on my first indoor grow because it was supposed to be a neutral odor when growing. It was stinking as hell. Whole house reeked even w/ carbon filtration. I did like the strain though as did everyone that got to try it.
