Oh okay so the protestors self interests override that of the commuter who is actually trying to earn an income and feed their family? What if said commuter lost their job for being late, what now? That will absolutely help out this 1 vs 99 epidemic, now won't it?

I'd like to see proof that this has actually happened. Saying they should all pack up and go home because of some "what if?" shit isn't good enough. If you're late due to someone totally out of your control like that and it's verifiable, no one is going to get fired.
If no one is actually getting fired, then your problem doesn't exist and is not a good enough reason to stop it.

I never said pack up and go home, protest all you want. Blocking roadways is ridiculous.
There needs no proof of this as I never said it happened. I asked hypothetical question to make people ponder the possible consequences of these actions.
You're misconstruing me as being against the protests. I am not. People just need to have respect for others if they expect the world to have respect for them.

How many have gotten fired from these protesters making them late to work? I'd like to see some proof that this has actually happened. Being late because you slept in and being late because it was impossible to get to work because the road was blocked are not the same thing. Show me some cases of people being fired because of protesters making them late and then we can treat it as a real problem. Right now this is just a hypothetical problem.

It's quite clear your intolerance toward dissent. To simply voice opposition toward the actions of one singular group of people is not opposition towards the entire movement. I don't know if it's happening. We don't know of any of the repercussions of those actions, but for someone who is as pragmatic as I thought you were I fully expected you to understand that a lack of evidence is not absence of evidence. It's time people stop being so self centered and look at how their actions affect the world. I thought for sure a democrat would understand this. Apparently, I have been completely fooled because now I have no clue what a democrat is supposed to represent.

Unlikley. Car crashes, earth quakes, protests, road closures are not resasons to justify dismissal. Odviously it could happen. You are expected to leave early enough to account for things like the aforementioned.
Said family is doomed anyway and will be in the streets getting beat by Police eventually anyway.
