Wait no longer. I won't even bother to point out you don't have to be a Progressive on every topic to be a Progressive, just like you don't have to be a Conservative on every topic to be a Conservative. Saying that shows how much of a partisan hack my accuser is. Plenty of Independents agree with either party on a number of topics, I'm living proof as are many of my acquaintances and friends.

Again, I just can't accept that conclusion. I couldn't be further from the Right's position on almost EVERY social issue, almost every self described liberal would agree with my positions on abortion, same sex marriages, drug legalization, religion etc, etc...

I also don't agree I'm too far to the right on fiscal policies either. Asking for spending to go back to 2001 levels would not ruin the country. Now asking to unwind 80 years of "Progressive" legislation I'm sure sounds out there. I know it isn't going to happen, but it doesn't change my belief that it would be the best thing we could ever do to secure this country's financial future. I also didn't arrive at this position from listening to Hannity, Limbaugh or any of the other partisan hacks, I certainly have heard them say it, but the people and places I go to for information is quite broad. I've listened to both sides, countless times, and have made my conclusions. I'm sorry they don't jibe with yours, but calling me a partisan hack is just untrue. It's not the same ballpark, it's not even the same fucking sport.

you know how you keep this country financially sound? have people here and abroad keeping their belief that the monetary currency we ALL need to use is the US dollar. that keeps our dollar strong.

the best thing we could do to secure this country's financial future is to get the money flowing again.

trickle down economics is a joke. by definition, capitalism operates by trying to funnel money up. let companies expand uncontrollably and you have what was once an investment bank running infrastructure projects and controlling enough aluminum to threaten global supply (cough cough goldman sachs).....

you cannot let private profit trump the interests of the general population. when you do you get manufactured crises like the US debt 'non issue' and the clusterfuck in europe.

Feudalism is EXACTLY where we are headed if we allow this partnership between corporations and government to continue. We get capitalism when the want to fuck us all over and socialism when the screw up. Either way they win and we lose. It's all designed to keep the rich rich and the rest of us so poor we can't fight back.

When I screw up, I don't get a bailout. How about you? Why is socialism good enough for Wall St bankers but when the 99% are getting foreclosed on it's time for capitalism?

and why do you insert those thoughts into my writing? How do you draw that from what was written? You seem to jump on the partisan bandwagon also.

I wouldn't say I believe either necessarily. I think the better word is waste as opposed to spending, If I wanted to exaggerate to one extreme then I would use the word 'cons'.
