ordered some.... still waiting. Ordered from a UK site a couple days after, and i am looking at the beans... which is odd because it only had to travel a province... rather than an ocean. I am concerned

Dont worry, youll get them. I bet theyve been shipped, just slow mail unless its express 3 day shipping. I usually wait 2-4 weeks on regular shipping, but with Herbies its been 7 days on the dot but their package is tracked unlike HGS.

YEah you're right bro. I got all 29 of the 30 I ordered. Paid cash, and thought I would get a couple freebies since I didn't give him exact change (gave more). Well... I guess I will just have to wait and see how they grow. Hopefully its worth it
hgs doesn't give out freebies in quite the same way that other banks do
he gives you a few more of the variety you order, that doesn't feel like a freebie to some

And as far as the 12ft ceilings, not in my experience. They are very comparable with other good strains.
I have a Black Pearl going right now, 9 weeks from 12/12 and its beautiful. Absolutely covered in trichs and has a really thick, strong paint smell to it. But as far as height its just about the same as the Cataract Kush and the two Darkstars I have going with it. The two Darkstars I have been tying down, they might be quite abit taller if I hadnt.

Yep, thats exactly what it is, I remember reading about the change now that you said that. And I agree, 40 bucks for 15 seeds was a good deal. I got the mix-pack of superstrains. Only thing I dont like is they arent labeled so you have to grow it out and compare to see what it is.

Exactly why I didn't go that route. I want to know what I'm trying to grow. Were they sorted but not labeled or were they all mixed together in one container?

yes they came in a little plastic tube with q-tip ends stuck in both sides. completely mixed and unlabeled.
I will say so far, I have popped 5 seeds all germed and only one has been male. The 4 females were not too hard to identify once they started budding up. The only one that I have been really impressed with so far has been this current Black Pearl. I didnt care much for the avalanche/monsterbud/superbud. They were not very potent BUT they gave a nice sativa buzz that would knock the edge off without making you lazy.
I do have some pictures, and I am actually preparing to take a few more today. I tried to upload a picture earlier and after about 45 minutes of uploading I canceled it. Not sure if my picture is too big or what exactly. I dont really have much knowledge of digital cameras and how they work and have no idea how to make the pictures smaller.
On a side note, I am really interested in the Purple Cindy and I hope like hell the one male wasnt going to be the purple cindy. I still have 10 seeds to go.
without software like Photoshop you'll have to change the setting in your camera to reduce the resolution to meet the maximum file size required (which I've forgotten, below 200 KB I believe)

Heres a couple at 28 days from seed in promix organic. FIMed a few days ago. most near 10 inches tall and a foot wide.

It took about a week for them to show sex after 12/12 so really its not quite 6 weeks and 7.5.
Ill try to work out the res on my camera to make more compatible pictures for rollitup.

music to my ears, got a mixed pack myself
the nice sativa buzz that can be had from non sativa hybrids would be sweet
i'll hold that thought till i crack the next hgs seed
I really am suspecting good things from the Black Pearl. Its a mostly sativa hybrid as well, I believe its supposed to be like 20/80 or 30/70. It looks like the pheno I have might be closer to 30/70 or even 40/60. Since, overall, I prefer sativa I think I will really like this. The crystal production leads me to believe it will be like a more potent version of the others I mentioned. If that is the case, I will probably be ordering a full order of just black pearl.
