Quick advice from Sativa people, please?

Ok I have one Arjan's Haze #2 in a 10gl DWC bubbler. The seed is feminized so I took my chances at only growing one in hopes of just using it as a mother. The plant is a good pheno as far as this Sativa goes...controlled internode spacing, fast grower etc. Anyhow, my dilemma is should I switch over to 12/12 to make it show sex or just let her veg and take clones, root them and plant them outside (I want as many clones from her as possible before outdoor season hits here, right now I can cut 14). The plant is about 5 weeks old and on the 7th node around 20"-25" high and has no signs of preflowering at all. In past experiences with plants I've grown, they have all showed at least preflowers by this point. But those were all mostly Indica plants. Man I sure miss my Golden Skush mother I had. :cry:

Any thoughts?

If you only planted one - there doesn't seem much point in flowering and then reverting back - might as well just take the clones. Or am i missing something?

Im with email,might as well clone right now.

I had a hell of a time waiting for my sativas to show sex,i have 4 sativas going & i put them into 12/12 at the same time as the indica's,it took a month longer before i had clear signs of sex,fukers grow slow as shit, but i can see where the buds are going to be monsters when they do end up finishing, sometime in the 27th century i hope.

You got it, I was just wondering if I should make sure it is indeed a true female and not a male/hermie. I realize now that I should have just grew them all and not have banked on one seed. Too late for all of that noe because my wonderful wife washed the whole pack, I left them in my jeans. Seeds are so damn expensive these days and I guess I was being cheap. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, hoping for the best.

Lol, I hear that. My plan is to clone, root and put them directly into 12/12 for 2/3 weeks and move them outside where they have room to grow fully. Greenhouse did this with one of their haze plants with good success and a above average yield. Hopefully I can also. I still regret not sticking with my old faithful Golden Skush, so easy to grow with quality smoke and yield. Always next year!:blsmoke:
