Basically I really need to get to work on a cab.
I have this dresser that will work well I think.
But I have to cut holes in the sides for vent holes for fans.
The sides of the dresser are 5/8" wide.
So I bought a hole saw and figured I would make a bunch of circles to make a square,
made a little diagram if what I said makes no sense

So I cut the first hole and let me saw using the hole saw took a pretty long time to get through the dresser and was fairly difficult...doing that 10 more times is not something I want to spend time or energy on. Would I be better off drilling a hole and then using a jigsaw to cut the vent holes for the fans or should I stick with the hole saw.
Let me know what you did for your DIY or what you think?

I use a roto zip to cut holes but the dresser in probably made of some sort of hardwood if thats the case it will be time consuming unless u use a high powered router with a carbide bit.

Im assuming the hundred holes is for security? If so just cut a hole as big as you need it with the saber saw(jigsaw) and make a light shield any way you want from cardboard. If someone realizes the thing does not open normally it will not detur them , they will confront you eventually.I DIY everything for 15years. I did the hundred holes before lol. Intake and exhaust can both be on the bottom.

I was worried when I realized my fiance was buying me tools as a gift, even more worried when I saw black and decker, but I'll be damned it works wonders.

Nah, though I never thought about that before. I was just going to make 4 or so smaller holes to make one big hole for the fan.

Seems the jigsaw is the way to go. they got a nice one for like 30 on amazon so ill probably pick that up

Thanks!
For the quick responses everyone gave and the fact that many people had the same answer everyone who answered was repped, if allowed by rollitup.
Will have some pics up of my grow tomorrow.
