Walmart, Lowes, or Homedepot is the cheapest, they are all almost the same. Tried the expensive stuff but always just go back to the cheap powder. Schultz "Take Root" works good for me

Yep they almost all use "indolebutyric-3 acid" as the active ingredient, even the expensive ones.

Schultz take root is $5. I've been using the same jar of it for 5 years and there's still more than half left. Has worked every time for me - even in bubble cloners.

i got a powder called rooting hormone by green light at osh for $3 and it works great
the clones dont care how much it cost
use money saved to buy some rockwool or some beer and weed:blsmoke:

or go to the strip club and buy one lap dance
but i vote for beer and weed last longer ;-)

just ordered green light rooting powder 2oz. only $7 with shipping from ebay. my local walmart, lowes, homedepot etc. doesn't carry them and my local grow stores are charging way too much for rooting hormones. also got a tray and dome, not the tall dome. i hope that's good enough for cloning

no. its not really needed. dont forget, its only a plant... the reason i feel so sure about my response is because i've done all the ways (with and without hormones) and i've come to find that hormones doesnt make it root faster... with the method hes gonna use i would only recommend high humidity in the dome and dont mist ur plants.. only mist the dome. u want the humidity to keep ur plants perky. they'll push out roots to try and feed.. the fastest way i've seen was aero 4-5 days to have roots, 8-10 days to transplant ready

you are right without a humidity dome u get shitty results
if u dont have that dont even think about cloning unless u want to lose half the crop

if he doesnt have one then i would recommend putting them in solo cups and placing sandwich bags over. or buy a shoe tote from walmart and poke 2-3 holes in the top

in my last post, i mentioned that I did buy a dome and tray off of ebay. would of gotten the tall dome but it was costing too much.

should of just bought a rotisserie chicken and kept the container for cloning haha. too late now I guess.

so dont mist the plants, mist the dome, got it. I'll keep that in mind.
