Baby white widow leaves getting purple spots

LOL ya like a parent with a new baby, snotty nose start to worry. They look fihne to me. What are your night temps like and how close is your fan, I get similar markings sometimes from being to close to the air inlet or fans. Stop flapping my friend and let your babies do thier thing.

i wouldn't worry too much about that, looks like low night temps. as long as the growth continues to grow in and looks healthy, i really wouldn't worry. you may have a temperature sensitive white widow. who knows, maybe your buds will turn purple too and give you something pretty to look atI awoke this morning to this:-

ph is fine and dandy, soil is whitney farms seed starter with added perlite. I watered thoroughly the night before.

Yea I am just going to give them some time. Its only the one plant with the discoloration, and there are four of em in the same box. So I dont thing that temp would just affect the one plant. After reading more about soil composition I decided that I didnt have enough pearlite and the soild was getting too compacted when watering (I think too much sphagnum). So I did something that might bite me in the ass in the next day or two (I transplanted them!!). I know they are pretty young to be taking any shock to the roots, but I was EXTREMELY delicate and did the transplant in a very dark room. 24 hours later they seem to be taking well, a little drooping of the first set of leaves but this morning there was new growth. So we will see if I just f'd myself in the a lol.

36 hours after transplant, pretty severe drooping going on all of them, but new growth is still happening. I am guessing that the drooping as a natural reaction to being transplanted so young. And the fact that growth is still happening indicates that the plant is still doing alright?

yea I have checked since transplanting, its in the low 6's so I am not too worried there. However in the old soil mix which was quite peat moss heavy it was probably low 5's. I am at sit and wait stage right now. I appreciate the info tity, I have been reading about that a lot. Just to ensure I have the correct understanding: soil which is too acidic will inhibit the root's ability to absorb P?

Yes sir it will lock out phosphorus if PH is too low. You are probably good with that new range of PH. That low 5's could of started a lockout, but i doubt it. I think it has to be pretty low to get Phosphorus lockout. Either way your plant looks damn sexy

thank you! I will post pics of all of them in my grow journal tomorrow. They had dried out to about 10% so I watered thoroughly with room temp store bought spring water. There is some awesome new growth I just need them to stop drooping and green up a bit more. I think they will make it, I effin hope so!

This advice continues to help me every day! My sick little baby is now 4 weeks into flower, about 2 1/2 feet tall and happy as can be!
