Strain: Lemon Haze

Bag Appeal: 7/10 - This strain is really dark. Personally, dark green weed has slightly less bag appeal to me. There is some nice trichs, they look pretty dark. Definitely not the typical "frosty" crystals you see on most bud. I prefer some lighter greens, purples, and whites; but it's all personal preference.

Smell: 8.5/10 - Smells more spicy/earthy with some very strong lemon smells in there too. I really enjoy the smell of this bud, and it certainly makes up for the lesser bag appeal with it's very pleasant smell. I'm apt to say the earthy flavour is a "hazy" flavour...

Taste: 8/10 - Well, honestly I was expecting more of a lemon/citrus flavour; not that I'm disappointed, per say, but I thought this would taste like it smells. It has an earthy flavour to it, kind of reminds me of a root vegetable.... lol Very, very, smooth!

The High: 8/10 - Well, I have to say this is very pleasant so far! It really snuck up on me, I was sitting here thinking about the taste and totally lost track of when the buzz actually kicked me in the head. It's not a heavy stone, I'm rockin' a wake n' bake and feel zero couchlock atm....

Comments: $12/g : Not the prettiest buds, but far from ugly either. Smooth, earthy taste, nice lemon smell. I would definitely smoke this herb again, it seems like a great energetic buzz. Good for those who like to smoke all day, like me! :blsmoke:

Bag Appeal: 9/10 - Who the fuck doesn't think WW is sexy as hell. Every serious smoker has seen WW at some point in their life and said "holy shit, It's so white!"
Tons of white mounds of crystal built up all over the outside of every bud... Not a ton of red hairs, and an overall light green/white colour.

Smell: 7.5/10 - Smells like tea! LOL.... With some sweetness that turns a little pungent at the tail end of the sniff.... Hard to describe precisely. Smells good, but not overly powerful.

Taste: 6/10 - Kind of lacking in this dept.... Not harsh, but not tasty either. I didn't get any fruity, or sweet tastes from this puff.... Not overly great, but not poor either.

The High: 8.5/10 - Creeper buzz, hardcore. While trying to figure out what kind of high I was feeling, I had a couple more bowls. 10 mins later I was clicking through stumbleupon.com like a mad man, forgetting all about my strain review. Definitely not couchlocked, but pretty scatter-brained!

Comments: $10/g : Amazing looking buds, that have average taste but pack a whallop of a buzz! I've always loved WW, ever since I had some back in 1999 for the first time.

Bag Appeal: 9/10 - This bud is damn sexy! Twisting, swirls of red hairs all over this bud. It's got an awesome texture to it as well, quite squishy but not too moist. Where there's not red hair, there's a powder coating of crystal!

Smell: 9.5/10 - This is what I'm talkin' about! Powerful sweet smell, with a pungent after aroma that almost smells bad it smells so good... lol I absolutely love the smell of this weed! Can only think of a few strains I've enjoyed smelling more...

Taste: 9/10 - Very fruity taste! Kind of like Orange peels mixed with skunk. lol Again, a huge winner in my books for taste!

The High: 9.5/10 - Not to toot my own horn, but I smoke a dirty pile of weed, all day long. I'm the guy who literally does everything high, and no one ever knows, because it's just a thing I do now; it's lost its mystique, or the ceremonial-ness it once had and has become routine. I don't really get "baked" anymore....

That being said;

I'm pretty fuckin' high right now. Instant hitter, waves of heat in my face and eyes. My body feels heavy and hard to move. I like :D

Comments: $12/g : I highly recommend this bud to anyone with a high tolerance......or anyone with a low tolerance...

I guess what I mean to say is, smoke this weed if you can. It's fantastic in pretty much every aspect, but don't expect to 'do' a whole lot. :eyesmoke:

Hind sight, I may have been a little harsh on the bag appeal of the Lemon Haze... it's pretty god damn sexy bud in its own way....

fluffy & scrawny ARE bag appeal traits to me. bud like that is more likely to get you high! i see what's CALLED bag appeal as indica propaganda myself. all of the things other people are proud of... skunk funk, sticky fingers, & rock hard nugs are all bad to me. fluffy buds are so much easier to break apart with your fingers too. i've had some gear that was so sticky, it made messes and a couple buds that were so hard i had to slice them with a razor blade to be able to even smoke them and as always, they were stony.

for me, more than anything, the BUZZ is where the real bag appeal is. what it looks, smells or tastes like are just bonuses if the buzz is right and actually gets you high.

good job on the reporting. i've seen sooooooo many annoying grow reports in other forums that totally skip over the ONLY important part of the entire grow... the smoke report! "best shit ever!" what the eff does that mean? there's a good chance YOUR best ever is my worst! i thought we learn the english language so we can use ADJECTIVES like in those reports, but WTF do i know?

Bag appeal to me is just looking at in in the bag, without smoking, or smelling- how badly do you want to smoke some?

Bag appeal is just something that adds to the placebo some people get. The shape of the buds, weight, smells, looks and texture all are a part of the total cosmetic appeal.

...very nice! WW is such a favorite of mine. A friend once gave me a nice bud to try out... wholly fckd! I have yet to see anything like it. It was crunchy...like it was rolled around in orange bath salts. :) And now that I look again, it seems as though I've smoked the others from your post also. Always feel lucky when I come across really good ganj...

the smell that makes me hard the most is that MILD wheaty, grassy, minty even piney odor that IBLs make. it tells me a good buzz is a possibility, even moreso when you get that minty grass taste that's hard to describe, but something like actual weeds in a field.

I've grown the Grapefruit Kush from Next Gen. and agree it's a really dank, very good strain. I like it very much as well. Recommended for sure!!

wheezer or anyone else, how does the yield on Grapefruit Kush compare to strains like dynamite or island sweet skunk? ive been trying to find next generations biggest yielder for a while so if anyone can help me out id appreciate it

ISS, yields pretty well....IDK the GFK is a smaller squat, but very dense and heavy plant. Sooo....
