First things first. That's not a CFL. LOL. But I've seen some really good results out of T5's. I've run across a couple grows on here that use them. :)

Well, I know I have looked all over for a fixture that will run those lamps, and havent found shit really. I found a desk light they want $80 clams for, and iv seen a outside type security light, think that one was $60. so id say for the size, and what your getting, thats a sweet deal. They do put out a hell of a lot of light.

A 2' 4 bulb T5 only puts out around 8000lumens, a 6 bulb somewhere round 12000. the only difference i can see is you cant get the nice aquarium bulbs for a good spectrum spread. Strictly for a vegetative growth tho, should be a sweet light.

Just my .02....

t5s are amazing for vegg. got a buddy with an 8 bulb 4 foot that is making anything he puts in tower fast. lol. not so much for flower tho. small nugs compaired to the hps he uses.

Lets not get confused, the only difference in that is that it is not a "compact fluorescent", but they both are fluorescents... They all work the same. Advantage to the T5's is that you have a wider variety of lamps. Good luck. Personally I don;t think that would be enough light as it is so spread out, maybe supplement with some cfl bulbs. Seems kind of pricey. You can go to Lowes and buy a fixture and 4 bulbs cheaper than that $134.

I use 55 watt pl-l lights from ahsupply.com vertically in my 2x2x5' tent. They put out twice the light in the same space as a single tube fluoro. They have a fixture light with the pl-l for around $100 on the htg site.
