Dosing Shrooms

I am not new to shrooms but new to growing. I've eaten the ones sold in chocolate bars in Amsterdam (which are no longer legal) and the ones they sell at the "smart shops" in the plastic tubs. In A'dam I didn't have a scale so I have no idea how much I consumed.

If a person is new to shrooms, how much would you suggest they start off with?

If a person has done it and wants a decent trip?

If a person wants to meet god?

1. 2 grams or slightly less if you don't have an accurate enough scale.

2. I consider 2 a decent trip. But there is a huge difference between 2, 3, and 4. But if you're experienced, you should be somewhat familiar with your limitations.

3. Mckenna's heroic dose is 5 grams. That should probably only be done if your very experienced. I'm not sure if you'll see god, but you'll probably see UFOs.

I usaly eat 2-3.5 grams for a full blown trip, but 1.5 grams will defiantly get you high and spaced out another gram or 2 will set you were you want to be (although I'm not you and I do not know how far you are trying to go). Check out shroomery great place for mushie info.

In my opinion, to meet god(which I don't believe in) you need to do a much more powerful psychedelic. The most I got was some visuals but mostly my mushroom trips are just like tranced out states. My next mushroom trip I am going to be doing 4-5 grams of either PF classic or Albino A+, both of which are not known for potency. For a beginner, I would say take 2 grams, wait about an hour for them to kick in, if you want more take another 2 grams. Like someone before me said, they will not kill you, it's just not pleasant when you go overboard and can't control yourself from having a bad trip.

This is something you don't want to mess with. I've had much stronger trips from a 1/2 gram of a shroom over 3 grams of a different strain. It strain dependant. I'd start with 1/2-1 gram if you had no idea of strength and then redose in 2 hours if you feel you need more......... but the 1st time I'd err on the lower side.

2g minimum of cubensis. That's what I would start with if you never actually weighed a dose out before. Maybe a little more if you are feeling adventurous. Everyone is different when it comes to entheogens though so it's hard to say. Once you get above about the 4g gram range it's a different ballgame. That's when things really start getting intense. At least for me.

I guess it's a matter of preference, but I prefer not to eat more later. If I'm not where I want to be then I know to take more next time. Then again, I've eaten them enough times to know about how much to take to reach the level I'm looking for. Eating 2g now then 2g more two hours later is a lot different than eating 4g in once shot.

"Meeting God" is so subjective it would be impossible for us to say how much you need to eat. What I can tell you is that it is more than likely greater than 4g.

i smash a 1/2 an 1/8th for myself. to meet god i eat the whole thing. lol. but if u have no experience i wouldnt recomend the whole thing. lol. it does get kinda freaky when u start trippin hardcore.

The shrooms that grow naturally all over the UK (and are Illegal) you can consume till your hearts content, ive seen people take handfulls containing 30+ at once. Fly Agaric and other strong types (some of which are legal) you need to be more careful with, often less than one can give you a nice trip. Find out what your eating before taking it and look it up on erowid.

I am currently running p. cubensis Chitwan and PES Amazonian using pf tek. In amsterdam the only strain name I remember was philosopher's stone and those were amazing, little white/black/green truffle nuggets that smelled like earth and dirt. Intensely visual and causes you to become very philosophical.

I'm not religious either and totally agree that "seeing god" is highly subjective. I do realize there are some that are religious and I respect your faith.

I plan to dry them using a desiccant and put them into chocolate Christmas lollipops. I've got some great dark Ghiradelli chocolate (some will know why) and multi-color-sparkle/white vanilla chips that will accent the lollipops. I'll make 1g, 2g, and 4g pops for my closest friends. Should be spectacular.

Not necessarily tolerance but some individual variance is common. I have a buddy that didn't feel ANYTHING after taking 2g where I was zooming on level 2. I finally got him tripping using lemon tek and an 1/8oz on his b-day one year.

When we can get some, me and my friend usually eat'em all lol, Once we sat on a bus eating a bag of about 10g of shrooms. Took about 1.5 hours to kick in, but was decent lol He felt it more than me though.

Mushrooms are about 90% water as well, so if ever eating fresh, just divide wet grams by 10 to get estimated equivalent.

Wet (fresh) are always more potent, sometimes a lot more potent. The drying process degrades the active ingredient somewhat........

I very much prefer the strong trip off freshies, but they're also much nastier to get down. For a beginner however, I'd recomend the dried ones to ease into it until you know how it'll be. You can always take a bit more, but not less!

2g dry is as much as I will take by myself, any more than that and I like to have at least one friend there just in case it comes on a bit stronger than I like. I don't recomend solo dosing for beginners though. It took years before I was ballsy enough to dose by myself... funny enough it directly corresponded with my first harvest
